Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Frigiliana

A great stay in this house, everything is there for a good vacation. Very nice pool, relaxing jacuzzi, nice view in a quiet area. Katia welcomed us and Victor is always responsive to messages. The coast is steep indeed but Fred, who is athletic, did it without problem (personally, I preferred to consider the car). Everything was perfect. We could consider coming back without any problems.

We had a long stay 6 weeks in feb/march 25. our dog was with us for half of the stay. The house is as described, we had quite unusually wet weather for half of our stay but the climate control in the house worked really well so we could be warm in the cool evenings. The house is very cute and spacious and the roof terrace was amazing on the sunny days. Pia told us about some of the lovely walking routes and we enjoyed many of them. There is an easy walk to Competa ( once you get to the top of the village- which is pretty steep) it is fairly flat with wonderful views of the mountains and the sea. I would recommend Maro beach, it has parking ( in winter) and a small beach bar, lovely clear water where you can hire a Kayak 22 euro for 1 hour where you can see a fab waterfall that is only visible from the sea. Adrian's bar in Competa, great for cocktails, very chic. Pia was very responsive as was Chris who lived close by for any issues. A real home from home feel. we had a great time.

Staying at Paul's was just what we needed. Quiet and peaceful and surrounded by beauty. Paul was incredibly helpful and just a lovely human being. We really enjoyed staying there and hope to be back.

We stayed in the beautiful spacious house for the entire month of January, equipped with every comfort and met us fine. Chosen for January because it is not yet so hot in Spain and chosen for its location in the mountains because of the peace and nature. The house is located just outside the village of Periana with a beautiful unobstructed view towards the reservoir and in the distance the sea. Have taken beautiful mountain walks directly in the area or visited small villages by car or made wonderful beach walks on the coast in Torre del Mar that can be reached from Periana in half an hour. Behind the house was a spacious garden with beach chairs and barbecue and was lockable so our little dog could not walk away and play wonderfully, on the front floor you could also sit and enjoy the sunshine. The house was sparkling clean but because of the winter months it was fresh, so the wood-burning stove or electric had to be on. Andrés was a great host for us.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is amazing and the views stunning. A peaceful place for some relaxing days and still close to Granada.

If you wanna stay at mountain, enjoy amazing view, relax without city lights this is place to be. Big recommendation!

Massimo’s cottage is very cosy and rustic, on the smaller size but for two people you don’t need more. Very private location and beautiful views of the mountains. Very friendly animals who love a pat.

We had a lovely stay, despite the torrential rain for most of our visit (March). The house is comfy and we loved the wood-burning stove. The kitchen was great and very well kitted out, and we did a lot of cooking with local produce. The outside area was beautiful, mountains as backdrop, and a huge garden with different areas to sit and enjoy the views and wildlife. Even had orange trees. The house is about 3km from Orgiva, along a very winding road. We were glad it was still daylight when we first arrived, to help find it. Thanks for a lovely stay. I'd love to come back in better weather to really enjoy the pool and do more of the local walks.

Cute apartment and clean, the host was very responsive. I missed some cleaning products as I stayed a long time but they were provided when I requested them.

Such a special accommodation in the middle of nature. Although there are a few other apartments on the grounds, it feels like you’re on your own. The hosts were there if we needed anything and the apartment had everything that you could need for a stay in a remote place. If you need a break from your busy life, this is definitely the place for you!

The flat is exactly the way it is advertised on AirBnB. It was very clean and air conditioning was working perfect. In addition, to give it some fresh air in the morning you can open the windows. Juan was welcoming us directly in front of the building and in the flat he gave a short useful explanation of how things work and logistics. During our stay he was very responsive. The flat is close to the old town, beach, restaurants, shopping etc. and if you have a car, the garage is certainly an asset. And if you want to go to other towns near Malaga by car, you can easily access the motorway after a few minutes drive. We are a Family of 4 adults and have spent a week in Juans flat and we highly recommend it.

Excellent location, just a short 3-5 minute walk from main train station direct from airport. Also just next to lift down to the beach. Lovely hosts, extremely accommodating would recommend 😄

The Airbnb met all our expectations and more , we stayed for a month and it felt like home. It is in a local neighborhood, the bakery is right there , market, grocery stores ,restaurants all within 2 blocks. The terrace upstairs is quite spectacular and a great place to sit and catch the sun. Pedro is a great host , he arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport and he was available to help us out with other transportation arrangements. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

This is an excellent flat, perfect size for 4 adults, brilliant location, lovely view, and lots of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. It was exactly as described, and very clean and tidy. It's also a short, and cheap, taxi ride from Malaga airport. Jose was an excellent host. Highly recommended.

We had a great time at Elena's place. Very good location, breathtaking view from the terrace, very clean, comfortable bedding, well-equipped... We'll gladly come back.

A lovely stay in a beautiful, spotlessly clean apartment. Absolutely loved the balcony. Location was great. Five minutes walk to the beach, train station and restaurants. So handy for the airport. Javier was very helpful, responsive and friendly. Only thing I would suggest is adding a couple of sun loungers for the pool.

Great Villa, great location for visiting Nerja, Frigiliana & Torrox Affordable to taxi to Nerja 8-12 euros for the evenings. Villa had everything we needed, including sea and mountain views, pretty view of Nerja at night. Beautifully clean and spotless pool. Ralph assisted with minor query straight away. Front gate can be tricky at times to open, just takes a few tries and some patience. I would happily stay here again.

Amazing stay for 16 of us. The grounds are so well equipped for a big group. Jorge is very accommodating and friendly, the villa has everything including Frosties and balls for the pool. Thank you so much would come back again!

Just back from a wonderful stay at Ashleigh’s gorgeous and peaceful Casa. The view from both inside the property and the terraces was absolutely spectacular at every time of day. Just like the photos. Everything worked perfectly in the home, including a high spec kitchen, and the pool was heated to a very comfortable temperature for swimming, even when the air was a bit chilly. The children were in heaven, and we especially appreciated that there was no additional charge for the heating of the pool. The view from within the pool is second to none- with snow capped mountains to the North and the sea and the Moorish castle all to behold. Truly breathtaking. The layout of the house was ideal for our family, and the location provided much-needed peace and quiet, while it was a 5 minute drive into Salobrena for all the amenities one could need. Ashleigh was very responsive to our questions. We loved every minute of our stay and are already discussing when we might visit again!

A great villa in a great location. We had a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful month long stay at Lorie’s beautiful villa. It was well equipped for all our cooking and hosting needs. Spacious and comfortable for a group of 8. We enjoyed walking down the hill to the beach (20 min) and taking day trips to nearby Nerja, Granada, Malaga, Solabrena, and further to Seville and Ronda. Watching the sunrise over the hills and sea from the front patio with the stunning view will be etched in our memories of this happy time in La Herradura. The village itself is quiet and less touristy than others but with plenty of restaurants and activities for the family. Lorie was quick to respond to all our requests and a gracious host.

What a beautiful place to stay. Couldn’t have asked for more; the villa is absolutely beautiful and has everything needed for a peaceful week away. Kids loved the pool and the garden is stunning. You definitely need a car to stay here but we enjoyed the scenic drive down to the coast for days out. Hosts were helpful and responsive, even getting some shopping in for us as we arrived late at night.

From start to finish staying at Casa Rey was a first class experience. The communication from Debbie was great. We asked loads of questions and always received a prompt response. Although like many villas it was off the main road, the directions and helpful pin drop made finding the villa at night no problem at all. The villa and apartment were spotlessly clean, very well equipped and just as described. But the best bit came in the morning when you open the shutters for the first time, the view was breathtaking, total paradise. There were six of us staying at the villa, including four teenagers and they liked nothing better than lounging around the pool all day, particularly as the WiFi was so good. Competa town is a short drive away and we had some lovely evenings out at local restaurants/bars, with Casa Adriano being our favourite, if you get the opportunity try the tex mex nachos in the day time (food is served until 6pm). We will definitely be back to stay at Casa Rey.

I would highly recommend this beautiful Casa. The area and location is breathtaking. The whole place was clean and well equipped. All of our guests had a wonderful time and we will be back. The host went out of his way to communicate well with us. He helped us with transfers and made us very welcome. Thank you for a lovely trip
