Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Frigiliana

The villa was absolutely beautiful. You drive into the garage and street level and take the stairs or elevator up to the swimming pool where you find the front door to the villa. The villa has seating areas outside the lounge and master bedroom with wonderful views over Torremuelle out to the sea. The pool area is delightful and clean with lovely sun loungers and the water is warm all day. The villa has electric shutters which cover all windows and doors and the whole place felt very safe while we were there. You can walk for 10 mins to Torremuelle station where you can catch a trains to Malaga, Fuengirola or Marbella. Walk another 10 mins and you are down at the sea. Lyx were incredibly responsive when we had an issue with one shutter and sent out a locksmith at 11pm who fixed it there and then. Enjoy your stay!

Un super séjour dans cette maison, tout y est pour passer de bonnes vacances. La piscine très agréable, le jacuzzi relaxant, une jolie vue dans un environnement calme. Katia nous a bien accueillis et Victor est toujours réactif aux messages. La côte est raide effectivement mais Fred qui est sportif, l’a faite sans problème (perso, j’ai préféré envisager la voiture). Tout était parfait. On pourrait envisager de revenir sans problème.

Logement charmant situé dans un village authentique, encore épargné par le tourisme. Confort adéquat, en conformité avec le prix. Contact vraiment très sympathique avec Fran qui nous accueille dans la détente. Lieu très calme et bien situé, mais grande promiscuité avec les voisins (une des deux nuits de notre séjour fut perturbée par de la musique, impossible pour nous de savoir si c'est fréquent).

Pobyt w Cajar był naprawdę udany. Choć właściciel nie mówi po angielsku, świetnie porozumiewaliśmy się za pomocą tłumacza, zawsze szybko odpowiadał na wiadomości i z zaangażowaniem pomagał, gdy tylko pojawiła się taka potrzeba. Dom znajduje się w pięknej, spokojnej okolicy. Ogród otoczony jest zielenią, co zapewniało nam pełną prywatność i komfort. Dzieci miały mnóstwo przestrzeni do zabawy co było dla nas dużym plusem – serdecznie polecamy!

Wir waren Ende Mai bei schon sehr hohen Temperaturen in Granada und haben die Lage der Unterkunft am Talende mit etwas niedrigeren Temperaturen als in der Stadt sehr genossen. Steven war ein gut erreichbarer, unkomplizierter und sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Wenn man erst einmal weiß, wie man sich mit dem Auto in den kleinen Gassen bewegt und wo man es gut abstellen kann, ist die Unterkunft ein perfekter Ausgangsort für Ausflüge und Wanderungen in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Granada ist in knapp 25 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Im Ort gibt es kleine Restaurants, zwei kleine Supermärkte, Bäcker, Schlachter und ein aktives Leben auf dem nur 30 m entfernten Marktplatz. Das Haus selber verteilt sich über insgesamt vier Ebenen und verfügt über drei Bäder (einmal Dusche und einmal Badewanne), Wohnzimmer, Küche, EZ sowie DZ (mit toller Aussicht) und die wunderschöne Dachterrasse. Hier fehlte uns tagsüber eine Beschattung, abends war es aber wunderbar. Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft.

Wij verbleven de gehele maand januari in het prachtige ruime huis, voorzien van alle gemakken en voldeed prima voor ons. Gekozen voor januari omdat het dan nog niet zo warm is in Spanje en gekozen voor de ligging in de bergen vanwege de rust en de natuur. Het huis ligt net buiten het dorpje Periana met een schitterend vrij uitzicht richting het stuwmeer en in de verte de zee. Hebben prachtige bergwandelingen gemaakt direct in de omgeving of met de auto kleine dorpjes bezocht of heerlijke strandwandelingen gemaakt aan de kust in Torre del Mar dat vanuit Periana in een halfuurtje te bereiken is. Achter het huis bevond zich een ruime tuin met strandstoelen en barbecue en was afsluitbaar zodat ons kleine hondje niet weg kon lopen en heerlijk kon spelen, op het bordes aan de voorkant kon je ook heerlijk zitten en genieten van het zonnetje. Het huis was brandschoon maar vanwege de wintermaanden wel fris, dus de houtkachel of elektrische moest wel aan. Andrés was een prima gastheer voor ons.

Logement très agréable pour se reposer en couple. Très bien aménagé. La court intérieure avec sa piscine privée est un régal.

Cute apartment and clean, the host was very responsive. I missed some cleaning products as I stayed a long time but they were provided when I requested them.

Zona calma, um pouco afastada do centro de Granada mas fácil de apanhar transportes até lá. Escolhemos este alojamento porque viajámos de carro e queríamos uma zona com estacionamento. Não foi assim muito fácil de encontrar estacionamento, mas com alguma persistência conseguimos. Talvez por ser fim de semana tenha sido um pouco mais difícil. No entanto a nossa estadia foi ótima, o apartamento é adequado para duas pessoas, com o essencial para passar uns dias. Tem ainda o bónus de ter informações acerca de transportes públicos e recomendações. O Manuel foi um ótimo anfitrião, disponível e deu instruções muito claras.

Gary and Denise are great hosts. The appartment is clean, great and comes with a wonderful terrace. You can stay there with 4 people. Couples or singles who dont mind sharing a bedroom with two. Lots to do around town, nature and close, also by trein to Granada.

The Airbnb met all our expectations and more , we stayed for a month and it felt like home. It is in a local neighborhood, the bakery is right there , market, grocery stores ,restaurants all within 2 blocks. The terrace upstairs is quite spectacular and a great place to sit and catch the sun. Pedro is a great host , he arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport and he was available to help us out with other transportation arrangements. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

We had a great stay here and love Capileira! The views from Elena's apartment are amazing and we enjoyed star gazing at night. It was newly renovated, clean and Elena was a very responsive and helpful host. Thank you!

Super séjour, l'appartement est très bien équipé, la vue est superbe. Les hôtes sont très disponibles et abordables pour toutes questions ou remarques c'est très agréable. L'appartement est bien situé (accès facile aux restaurants, à la plage, proche d'un supermarché..).

We stayed in Amelias House for Hugh altitude cycling training and this House was a great set up for our Group. Very homely and cozy. A rich selection of accessories and necessities, everything you need. The house was nice, warm and clean and you had everything there. They brought us an extra radiator and that was really nice. The beds have great mattresses, only the bunk bed was a little wobbly😂 The owner is friendly. The only thing we would appreciate not the gate ( closing ramp) to be closed all the time as we were moving a lot wirh our cars and not many cars required to park there. I would rate it as super good.

Amazing stay for 16 of us. The grounds are so well equipped for a big group. Jorge is very accommodating and friendly, the villa has everything including Frosties and balls for the pool. Thank you so much would come back again!

One week spent here on a family holiday with toddler and we felt right at home with everything we required being in the villa from towels, high chair, travel cot, coffee pods etc therefore we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay throughout our visit I cannot pick any faults. The villa itself is beautifully decorated inside and out, very clean and in a peaceful, safe location with excellent views. Exactly as pictures describe. We made use of the free shuttle bus provided by the hotel across the road down to the bottom of the street/train station to walk to surrounding areas and back up again which was very useful. Ali provided lots of information prior to our stay and after, and responded to my query during therefore no issues with communication. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would come back in the future! Thank you Ali!

Just back from a wonderful stay at Ashleigh’s gorgeous and peaceful Casa. The view from both inside the property and the terraces was absolutely spectacular at every time of day. Just like the photos. Everything worked perfectly in the home, including a high spec kitchen, and the pool was heated to a very comfortable temperature for swimming, even when the air was a bit chilly. The children were in heaven, and we especially appreciated that there was no additional charge for the heating of the pool. The view from within the pool is second to none- with snow capped mountains to the North and the sea and the Moorish castle all to behold. Truly breathtaking. The layout of the house was ideal for our family, and the location provided much-needed peace and quiet, while it was a 5 minute drive into Salobrena for all the amenities one could need. Ashleigh was very responsive to our questions. We loved every minute of our stay and are already discussing when we might visit again!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement à Otura à l'occasion d'une réunion de famille. Nous étions 6 adultes et 5 enfants et nous sommes sentis à notre aise. L'hôte a même fourni 2 lits bébé et 2 chaises hautes pour nous. La communication était très facile. La proximité de Granada est parfaite si vous avez une voiture, et la vue sur la Sierra Nevada est un plus! Seul bémol: la cuisine est un peu petite pour le nombre que nous étions mais nous avons quand même pu bien nous débrouiller. La piscine est propre et non chauffée - mais cela n'a pas empêché les enfants de bien en profiter. Merci encore pour un super séjour. Nous recommandons fortement ce logement.

Vi elskede at bo i Lories hus. Det var endnu bedre end på billederne, og det fungerede fuldkommen perfekt i måden, huset er bygget op på. Udeområderne er simpelthen så smukke, poolen en oase og indretningen af værelserne er i top. Eneste lille minus er måske parasollernes kvalitet, når det blæser, men vi ved ikke, om det kan løses. Lorie er udover det enormt god til at svare, når der opstår spørgsmål, så vi følte os i virkelig gode hænder under hele opholdet. Vi er egentlig gladest for at rejse i Italien, men efter denne oplevelse, er jeg ikke i tvivl om, at vi vil booke Lories hus igen. Vi nød hver dag og savner det allerede!

We loved our stay in this tiny Andalusian village in the hills. It was in a peaceful and beautiful location. We felt so at home there and loved the traditional feel to the house. We ate outside every mealtime, enjoying the views from the wonderfully spacious garden and made the most of the pool. We ventured out to Competa and visited a great new restaurant (by day) and also a trendy insta worthy bar (by night) called Adrianos. We also visited the coast once (be careful not to take the small mountain road back. Big mistake on our part!). We knew the parking was on the road, but the access steps to the house are uneven and steep which was not a problem in the slightest for my husband and but proved a struggle for my mother in law and her wonky hip! Maybe make that clearer for those who find access tricky. All in all, we loved it here and are so grateful for the handy hints offered by the owners so promptly. We hope to return with our grown up children next year! Thank you.

From start to finish staying at Casa Rey was a first class experience. The communication from Debbie was great. We asked loads of questions and always received a prompt response. Although like many villas it was off the main road, the directions and helpful pin drop made finding the villa at night no problem at all. The villa and apartment were spotlessly clean, very well equipped and just as described. But the best bit came in the morning when you open the shutters for the first time, the view was breathtaking, total paradise. There were six of us staying at the villa, including four teenagers and they liked nothing better than lounging around the pool all day, particularly as the WiFi was so good. Competa town is a short drive away and we had some lovely evenings out at local restaurants/bars, with Casa Adriano being our favourite, if you get the opportunity try the tex mex nachos in the day time (food is served until 6pm). We will definitely be back to stay at Casa Rey.

I would highly recommend this beautiful Casa. The area and location is breathtaking. The whole place was clean and well equipped. All of our guests had a wonderful time and we will be back. The host went out of his way to communicate well with us. He helped us with transfers and made us very welcome. Thank you for a lovely trip
