A stunningly beautiful medieval cottage. Might be challenging to live there full time (people were shorter be in those days) but a fantastic place to spend a weekend. Paul and Sasha were great and responsive hosts.

From the moment I booked this tranquil escape, Jean the host made the stress disappear with helpful communication on the lead up to our break. It’s clear to see the passion and pride Jean has for her role as a host and her home. The lodge was cosy and comfortable and so much attention to detail with little touches to ensure her guests have the best stay possible. A great organised, modern and workable kitchen and a place we didn’t want to leave at all! Thank you Jean. We will be back againt

Wow Such a beautiful hidden gem. We stayed for my fiancé early birthday treat. The place had everything we needed it stunning surroundings. The place was so warm and cosy. The bed was huge and we didn’t want to get out. Our breakfast was also so good and felt like a treat having cooked breakfast delivered. Our dog loved the surroundings and our walk along the river the next day. We will definitely be back

Loved our night away at Kim and Sam’s place. One night wasn’t enough. Will definitely be back for a weekend trip. Lovely location, so peaceful. Enjoyed my bowl of coco pops in the morning. Hot tub was perfect, very romantic with the lights

The property was everything we could have wanted and more. The property is furnished fantastically and is perfect for socialising with large groups. The location is quiet and provides easy parking for multiple cars. The house was amazingly equipped for all of our needs with top quality appliances which made cooking enjoyable. Finally Greg was a top host, proving plenty of information and fast responses. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Oh so peaceful. What a pleasure to be woken by a cockerel, a neighing horse and a bird tapping on the skylight instead of the mainline trains to London at home. Just what we needed to break up a late night journey home. The lanes were a bit scary for a townie and our looks like it's been in Tough Mudder but it was totally worth it for a night in that comfy bed.

We had the perfect stay in the Nissen Hut whilst visiting relatives in the area. It had everything you would need for a self catering holiday. It was located in a very private and peaceful apple orchard. It’s our first stay in a Nissen Hut and it was extremely comfortable. If we’re back in the area we would hopefully rebook it without hesitation. Thank you for all the little extra touches eg. Bottle of local Apple Juice which was delicious.
