Monthly Rentals in Frankwell

A stunning house that’s so close to the town centre but unaffected by noise and traffic. We really loved the location and everything about the house too. It was the perfect location for our long weekend and had everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable and Adrian’s welcome and attention to detail made us feel at home straight away.

A good location for striking out into Shrewsbury - and an apartment that is well looked after, has character, has ample space for a couple, and represents excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

An ideal base for looking around Shrewsbury due to being only a very short walk to the town centre. Bed was super comfy and bed linen smelled amazingly fresh and clean. It’s a very quirky period property thats been converted as much as it can be to modern living standards. You would need to have good mobility to stay here, due to the very steep and tricky stairs to the bedrooms. It would also be a challenge for tall people. Outstanding communication from the owners at all times. The property is located on a roundabout exit so wouldn’t suit someone who can’t stand traffic noise in the early mornings, although to be honest, we still slept well, even with the window open. Our ear plugs were useful. I guess noise is a trade off for the convenience of the location. Could do with mentioning there isn’t enough seating for 6 people in the lounge or in the kitchen diner. Didn’t bother us as we were out and about a lot, but wouldn’t suit someone who wants to spend time at the property.

What a beautiful house and a lovely host. Helen went above and beyond for our stay - she left out toys and books for our little ones, the high chair ready to use and even a spare sheet with the travel cot for our 2 night stay. Stair gates were even provided for us which was amazing, and very much needed. We had use of the parking permit for Frankwell main car park which really is only seconds from the house. The house itself is beautiful. The roll top bath and toiletries all provided added a little touch of luxury too. The beds were comfortable, everywhere was clean and the kitchen well equipped. Helen and David were both very responsive which made everything so much easier too. Thank you so much for a lovely stay - we would love to stay again next time we visit family in Shrewsbury!
