Cottage vacation rentals in Formazza

We spent two days in Anzola and had a great time. The house was a surprise, especially for my 5-year-old girl, Adele, who really appreciated not only the bathtub(at home we have a shower) but also the development on 2 floors, with relative stairs to climb and down continuously😅🤣. We lived a lot outside, eating outside and enjoying the garden, cared for and large (but not too much) and above all closed and therefore safe, even in case of dogs or children, as in our case. The house was very clean (which is not obvious considering the number of rooms, floors and spaces), very enjoyable and really well equipped. It has everything you need and even more, rarely is the same equipment on Airbnb. The final impression is that of a well-kept, beloved house that welcomes you in a hug, comfortable and suitable for short as long stays. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful home with a view and lake access. It went very well, the place was perfect. we have a baby and a small one, all the childcare equipment was available and very useful. we highly recommend this accommodation.

Beautiful place! Right inside a horse farm. The apartment is located on the second floor above the farm office. Two huge bedrooms and two very large bathrooms. New and clean washing machine. We traveled with our children and they were thrilled with the place. The owners of the property were very friendly and highly available by phone (whatapp) Great place!

We enjoyed staying in the middle of the mountains. The baita is cozy, has a lovely garden, BBQ, and stove for inside. Our children (1 and 4 years) enjoyed playing in the garden. We made wonderful hiking tours. This space is really recommended for those looking for the silence and tranquility of the mountains. We were there in early May and the temperature was lovely. Had a lot of sunshine. The host was very flexible about arrival and departure. Thank you Emanuele for the tip to walk on the Passo della Forgalo. A breathtaking trek that starts next to the cottage.

Such a lovely stay in this cozy, charming cottage in Nesso! The garden was perfect for lounging in the sun, and we lucked out with beautiful weather. Check-in was super smooth with clear instructions and videos. While we didn’t meet our host, she was very responsive and helpful with local tips. We were greeted with pastries and prosecco, which was such a nice touch! The house is small but great for a short stay. A/C and heating worked well. Bathroom is tiny and hot water ran out quickly, but manageable. There’s a washer (we didn’t use it) but no iron. Heads-up: the steps down to the house from the road are steep! Also, a few things from the listing (like chickens or a certain seating area) weren’t there. We used the bus to get to Como—it’s easy once you figure it out. Overall, our host was wonderful and we’d totally stay here again!

A great stay in a very charming apartment with a great host. The location is wonderful, a steep but short walk down to the centre of Bellano, with decent bars and restaurants in walking distance. Percival was very accommodating, responded rapidly and was able to share tips for the local area. A truly beautiful spot and a rare treat to have a private garden with such a stunning view

The view from the terrace is outstanding! 😊 I felt very comfortable and above all welcome from the beginning. This accommodation is absolutely recommended! The contact with the landlords was very friendly and warm from the beginning. No question remained unanswered. I got great tips for hikes and restaurants. In the immediate vicinity of the house start great hiking trails, among other things, to two waterfalls! Thank you for the great time! 🤗

We had a wonderful time with Elena in the upper house. We absolutely liked it, just like in the pictures, clean, well equipped, quiet location, ideal to relax. We cooked every day in a superbly equipped kitchen, used herbs from the garden, went hiking a lot and discovered a lot. Elena was easy to reach, helped us with luggage transport, was always responsive with good tips. The church bells ring hourly, for us it was not a problem, rather peaceful. We were very lucky with the weather, an absolutely relaxing stay and we will be very, very happy to come back. Our dog also felt very comfortable. Everything was perfect for us.

We had a really relaxing few days in this beautiful rustico with a lot of privacy. The view into the Onsernone Valley is top notch.

We spent a really wonderful spring week in the Rustico. It's superbly furnished - especially the kitchen. We enjoyed the balcony for reading and the terrace for relaxing. The surroundings are beautiful: the stone village, the green Versasca, the many waterfalls and hiking trails. Everything is easily accessible. Cindy was very accommodating with our questions and we felt very comfortable. Many thanks for everything!

A good place to stay for 2 people as advertised, nice cozy feel. We had a baby so was scared to turn on the fire which could have caused heating of metal elements to already a small area. One imp thing which I missed to see..was that we need to carry our own hand wash, body wash and shampoo with us. Everything else was good...

Lovely hosts that welcomed me personally, which I very much appreciated! The comfortable, quiet, little house is located in a garden on a hill at the edge of Como. The city center and lake are very close and easily walkable. The house is much nicer than on the photos! It consist of one open space (the bathroom is separate), beautifully divided into several areas/levels. You enter into the dining area, with on the left the living room with a balcony and on the right the open kitchen and separate bathroom. There is a beautiful built open wooden staircase leading to the bedroom on the left and the study/library space on the right. I was there in Dec/Jan and it was nice and warm inside. In a separate room in the basement are a washing machine, ironing board, laundry drying rack for guests to use. Grazie mille C&G!

Fausto's cottage is wonderful for vacationing in Osteno. It is located in a beautiful garden with terrace. In the house, everything is as described in the listing. However, you have to do without TV and Wi-Fi. However, the existing cell phone reception (not always guaranteed in the mountains) makes it possible to plan tours and excursions. From the house you can reach the small town center within a minute. There are two bars and a small mini-market. The beach is a minute's walk away. If you are looking for peace and quiet and want to vacation among locals, we highly recommend Osteno and Faustos Cottage. We'll definitely be back at some point.
