We have just had the most relaxing stay at Karen's place - 9 days in this gorgeous location. During the days, we walked Offa's Dyke and the Clwyd hills and when we got back, there was the hot tub to ease our aching limbs - fabulous! The location of this lodge is wonderful, with rabbits, geese & their goslings, cows & their calves visiting us regularly. We ate out at The Raven (community owned and run pub nearby), which was very enjoyable. We can recommend the Swan Farm shop - the meat is grown within 3 miles of the shop and the farming methods are regenerative (the very best way to be growing food, enhancing the soil and land as you grow food). Karen is a fabulous host - there if needed and yet invisible the rest of the time (thank you for our stay!). I recommend this place wholeheartedly - it was perfect!

We had a perfect couple of nights away for my husband’s 30th birthday (and also our first trip away as a family of five with our twin babies and dog!). Karen was very helpful prior to our arrival. I needed to work out how to fit two cot beds in the bedroom and she kindly offered to meet us at the cabin to help us set these up which was very thoughtful. Karen advised us on things to do locally, provided lots of information about the cabin and was overall a brilliant and friendly host. Cabin Jordann was immaculately clean, very private, had a fantastic garden space for the dog, was equipped with everything we needed (the kitchen in particular) and had the most beautiful views! The hot tub was a perfect touch and we loved relaxing in it on an evening once the babies were asleep. It felt very remote, but still close enough to links such as Chester for trips out (by car). We were situated right next to a forest too which was lovely to walk the dog around. Thanks Karen! 10/10

what a gorgeous little find, this is a hidden gem for anyone wanting to get away from it all. The set up is incredible with every detail thought of it side this huge tent. The Bath was my favourite, it felt spacious and cosy. we hope to come back again another time.was just what we were looking for after a long day trekking in Snowdon.

Loved the stay would honestly b perfect for a smaller family was just little bit small for my size family 2 adults 2 children and a big dog but Gemma was more than helpful and we still enjoyed it regardless kids loved the hot tub thank you so much

Much better than expected/advertised! Hot Tub was already on, BBQ was ready to light and coal provided. Larger fridge than you’d typically expect in a hut/cabin and nice views. Cabin was private, the host lets you just crack on with it and we were more than happy with our stay.

Fantastic little cabin with everything you could possibly need really well equipped, just as described. The comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. Lovely private garden with furniture and fire pit to use. Off road parking for the car and back gate straight onto the sand dunes and beach with lovely walks Poppy our dog loved it. Elaine and Steve were great host and explained everything we needed to know. 5 minute walk to the village where there was a cafe, pub, bakery and a Karl’s that sold everything. Down the road was a small supermarket on a caravan site a little more expensive but convenient. 100% recommend. Thanks again Elaine and Steve hope to return in the future.

me & my boyfriend have had a lovely relaxing weekend away!! The pod is beautifully designed with everything we needed. We stayed in the pod for our evening meals and the kitchen was well equipped for our needs. The hot tub was fabulous and relaxing whilst watching the lambs run around the field. We travelled to Llyn Brenig and walked around the lake. We have throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone!

Had such a fun stay!! The whole time was filled with fun and laughter! We had everything we needed and Joe also provided more coal which was fab! The place is fantastic, would 1000% come back!

Really lovely place. Beautiful location and very peaceful. The hut very cosy but finished to a very nice standard and it had everything you could need including a comfy bed, toilet/shower room, sink, fridge, kettle and microwave as well as cups, plates, utensils etc. The hot tub outside was great and was very easy to use. Rob and his dad were very responsive and helped us get settled in when we arrived. Even the weather was amazing! Would book again without a doubt.

Angie's Den was the perfect stay for us, we were travelling around the area but wanted somewhere peaceful to stay at night and we couldn't of got better. Gemma was on the ball with everything and is an excellent host. The cabin, quirky, fun, yet tranquil. Hot tub was amazing and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Nice little place within a close driving distance to Chester. The cabin is cosy and has everything we needed for our short stay. Nick and Gill were friendly and made us feel welcomed. Would come back.

This place was perfect , very private with beautiful , peaceful surroundings . The thing that stood out the most was the cleanliness and how tidy the place was . I would definitely recommend and stay here again

we had a fantastic time, loved everything about it liked where it was nice to sit and watch the horses cannot fault anything would highly recommend
