We loved our stay! Everything was clean and the bedroom were very nice with comfortable beds. The house had a very cozzy feeling to it. We didn’t had the right plugs for the phone charger and they were nice enough to borrow us 4. On the day of our check out we needed ice to put in the insulin container of my mom and they went above and beyond to get some ice for us, really thankful for that! Overall I would really recommend this place. Location was great too, close by to the beach and restaurants and just 1 hour away from Edinburgh

Lovely cottage, very comfortable and well-equipped, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Peaceful rural area with some nice walks and local wildlife around. The pool and jacuzzi were also super clean and a great addition. Highly recommended!

Recently visited Pleasant Hill for Hen Weekend. We had previously been let down by another house and Chris was extremely helpful and reassuring. 17 of us stayed for the weekend and the house was perfect for what we needed it for. Chris was in constant contact with me, gave plenty of recommendations for local amenities and attractions and was flexible on check in and check out times. For such a large party, buying food was a concern of mines but he suggested we do an online shop beforehand and offered to collect it and put it away for us before we arrived. This really was a massive help and greatly appreciated, it was one less worry and concern I had in the run up to the weekend. Our bride and all guests had a fantastic weekend. Thank you!

Host was very friendly with very good communication throughout. On arrival the host made it very easy to get into the lodge and came in and explained all amenities on site and was very polite. Overall, throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and return.

We had a lovely long weekend at Tarken House. The views are beautiful. The house is spacious, well stocked and easily accommodated the 10 of us, all adults. House was lovely and warm and very clean. Beds are very comfortable and good size en-suites. Jonathon was very quick to respond to any queries we had. Would highly recommend Tarken House and definitely be back again.

Fantastic cottage for 2. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Loacation is great with easy walking distance to Centre of town. Would stay again.

We used the house as a base for our motorcycle touring holiday and it was fantastic. We had everything we needed and absolutely no issues or concerns throughout our stay. Definitely worth the money and the location and parking couldn't have been better.

Scots place was beautiful. Lots to do inside and outside. Kids had lot of fun as there were toys scooter and bike. There was colouring books and pens card games kids did not get enough time as we only booked for one night. Scott was kind and he extended our check out. Kids made the most out of it. Not far away from Edinburgh castle which was our holiday plans to explore Edinburgh city. Clean kitchen and toilet and shower. We had everything we needed in the caravan. Beth's place was quiet but still within walking distance to everything we needed. This is a great place for families and friends! The bus station is down the hill, making it a breeze to get to City Center. The train is a nice walk through the park. I highly recommend Beth's place😄

Great place and Location,

This was the perfect place to conclude our 2 week family trip around Scotland. Our family of 8 adults and 2 small children were completely comfortable in Thornhill House. Ross even sent over cozy bedding and a soft toy for the youngest in our group. The kitchen with its large gathering table was wonderful. There were also plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms which truly enhanced our stay. The location was near to Stirling and its many attractions, yet was a quiet and peaceful getaway. I would highly recommend Thornhill House for larger groups and families. Your stay will be comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you, Ross, for your great communication and responsiveness!

Spotless, modern, well equipped place. Spacious for 6 people. Great location near beach, and within 15 minute walk of town centre. Nadine was responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay, and I would definitely consider staying again!

A superb bungalow and a friendly welcome right from the start. Would highly recommend as a base for exploring Scotland. Host was very responsive and bungalow very well equipped. Superb!!

Our stay at Mark's beautiful house was possibly my all-time favourite Airbnb stay. The house is gorgeous, really well apportioned, so well equipped for cooking - Mark was generous with his seasonings, but what was unexpected was how stylish it was; really beautiful pieces of furniture, lots of intriguing artwork, fantastic book collection. We were a party of 6 and there was plenty of room, great shower, ironing board(!), easy to use appliances. The linens and towels were really nice quality and it was a joy to be there. Mark was very responsive, and no question was too silly. The location is perfect, and the mews lane pretty idyllic and a few minutes away from the park. Altogether a wonderful experience and I would definitely book again. Thank you for everything Mark!

Janice, Lorna, and Karen were excellent hosts! They responded to the questions I had when we were there very quickly. The house was perfect, private bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone! The location was just as perfect. It was an easy walk to the Old Course, or restaurants, bars, and shopping. Certainly a golfers paradise, but it was also beautiful to walk to the castle ruins and the beaches. We highly recommend this home!

Enjoyed our stay, any queries or issues were sorted quickly. Had everything we needed - towels, cooking things, some toiletries. Garden got the evening sun and plenty of seating for the group.

Brian is a very welcoming host. we had a lovely warm comfortable stay for the New Year celebrations. Easy walk to the Battle of Bannockburn site.

A home away from home ❤️ The house was lovely, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. I was travelling with parents and a small child - so split levels meant everyone could have their own space and a big communal area on the ground floor which was perfect for us all. Location was great. A short cab ride into town, but walkable too. Close by to Arthur’s Seat, which is a must to do while in Edinburgh. Karen and Carina are amazing hosts, very responsive and went above and beyond for us. Would highly recommend! Thank you.

We had a fantastic stay at the Trail House. the cottage is perfectly located for walking and cycling in the glentress forest, and is walking distance to the local pub/restaurant. the house was perfectly set up for everything we needed, and Hayley was a super responsive and flexible host.

We loved our stay here. The house was spotless, Tracey was such a responsive host and the location was great for the places we were visiting. The house has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The little extras such as the cereal, milk and peppermint tea were an unexpected bonus. If we are back in the area we will book this lovely house again without hesitation. Thanks Tracey!

Nice and cozy house very close to the Royal Yacht Britannia (a Must for a visit). Also very close to Bus Stations and the Tram Station to the City and onwards to the Airport. But beware: Both tram and Busses only operate very frequently during daytime. Tram stops Running before 11 p.m. and Busses at midnight. After that only rare nightbusses. Private Parking Space Comes with house. We highly recommend.

Usman is wonderful, very responsive. The house was clean and generally comfortable. The kitchen was equipped, but some of the cookware (like the frying pan) was quite old and had many scratches — it could use an update. I can’t comment on the location in terms of walking or public transport since I drove everywhere, but it worked well for my needs. Recommended
