Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Faido

Dorina and Mauro were fabulous hosts. We arrived later than anticipated and they stayed up late to greet us personally and show us the space in detail. They are a very kind and charming couple. Their accommodations were spotless, extremely comfortable and private. We felt at home and had everything that we needed right at our disposal. The morning espresso on the patio was a very special treat. I would 10/10 recommend Dorina and Mauro and their lovely apartment to anyone traveling through or near Quinto!

The host is very friendly, responds very quickly, the accommodation is clean, the room is spacious, fully equipped. From the accommodation it is very close to walk around Lake Lecco.

Beautiful stay in a clean, cozy cottage in a quiet village with great restaurant. The garden and view were glorious, the host very helpful. Only the parking situation was a bit difficult. We will be happy to come back, thank you!

The apartment is spacious, perfectly clean and you have everything you need and from the terrace you have a fantastic view of the lake and the three islands. The hosts are very nice, courteous and helpful. We would definitely come back.

Very friendly and helpful hosts who offer much more than just a nice place to stay. With their open nature and typical Italian warmth, they made the stay special even on gray days.

We spent 4 absolutely relaxing days for two. The quiet location, the great views and the wild animals we observed made our vacation a dream. The property has everything you need and is very cozy! Communication with Beat was very straightforward. If we needed anything or had a question, we contacted him and received an answer within the shortest possible time. During our stay, the family visited us twice and asked us about our well-being and we talked a little. Beat's father also visited us and told us many exciting things about nature and the surroundings. Absolute 10/10!

We had such a lovely week at Guiseppe's house. It was very comfortable, and the location was stunning. The views! We came without a car and were a little nervous about that, but it was all so easy. So many hikes just steps from the door. Easy to walk to Sonogno for good food and more beautiful hiking, and there is also a lovely restaurant just down the road in Frasco. Also, the buses are up and down the hill very regularly and it picks up just a block down from the house. Only thing to know is to get any groceries in Tenero or in Brione.

Milena's house is very well located and convenient for Tegna attractions. The place is very clean and comfortable , Milena is really a great host! We highly recommand this wonderful house :)

We had a great time at Piroska's! The apartment is in the heart of Ascona. Spacious, very clean and Piroska is a great host. Always again!

Very well-equipped and clean apartment. The lift is about 1 km away, which is a 10-minute walk for an adult. With children, we recommend the PostBus, which runs every 30 minutes. The stop is 100 meters from the house. The car can be parked in the underground parking garage. For longer stays, the washing machine in the apartment is extremely practical. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is perfectly equipped. Communication with Alberto was super straightforward and his response time was faster than mine😀. All in all, a great stay. Gladly come back👍

The apartment is very tastefully decorated and you have a magnificent view of the mountains. The beds were very comfortable, even the double bunk bed. We also liked the neck pillows. Shopping can be done in a short time with the help of the oblique lift. Unfortunately, it was broken for the last three days. Then it gets more time-consuming. We really appreciated the stay =)

Perfect location, 10 minutes from the center of Menaggio and the pier to take the boat to Bellagio and Vernazza. The only downside: the mattress of one of the large beds needs to be changed, it sags on one side.

The accommodation (no. 1, ground floor) in a house with about 7 apartments plus associated infrastructure (ski cellar, leisure room, carport per apartment, garbage separation area, black board with information, laundry cellar) is comfortably furnished in the 80/90s style and above all very well equipped (and everything labeled); especially the modern kitchen (e.g. incl. Fondue equipment). Heating was warm and beds cozy, we didn't have to freeze. Images correspond to reality and everything is well organized. It is located 50 m from the Rhine and only a 5-minute walk from the thermal bath in a very quiet residential area. All necessary shops are also within walking distance.

Tamara is very friendly and responded very quickly. The fireplace outside is very cozy and nice to have a BBQ :) Would love to come back to this cute house

We had a fantastic stay at Majid’s house. It is just as beautiful as in the photos. Very clean and modern. All amenities provided. Easy to find thanks to instructions provided by Andrea (cohost). She was available 24/7 throughout our stay and was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend hiring a car as the house is 10-15 minutes drive from the main town (Varenna). Once you arrive, the views are absolutely stunning. Both of the main bedrooms have a balcony. Waking up to the view was really something special. Thank you Majid for providing such an incredible place for us to stay.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this villa. From the moment we arrived, everything was exactly as described, stylish, and super comfortable. Andrea was incredibly welcoming and responsive, and Mr. Mo did a nice check-in. The space itself was cozy and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. We especially loved the tennis court and the Swedish sauna, and of course the great view of Como lake. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful surroundings, post bus right at your doorstep. (This is how you can leave the car.) Large house, fully equipped with everything you need! Scorpions can be expected:-) very nice, large outdoor area. Mike was super friendly, will get back to you right away. Absolutely uncomplicated handover. We have enjoyed our holidays!

You won't get many better places in the world to wake up and open your doors to. It's spectacular. The lake appears quieter on this side. when put paddle boarding felt like you had the lake to yourself at times. Bellagio was in easy reach by car with lots of restaurants, take-aways and a couple of decent supermarkets. The public area by the water was used at the weekend but it didn't stop us doing anything.

Sensational location, very large property, great pool. We enjoyed it very much at Andrea's place and are completely satisfied!

Villa Giuliana is a historic space filled beauty and so well cared for. Each room is a treasure. There is also a beautiful terrace. The location couldn’t be better. It’s a short walk to the ferry and the bus stop. Also very close to the center of beautiful Menaggio. Roxana and her husband are fabulous hosts and always there for you.

Loved our stay in Menaggio! The house was great and we felt right at home. It was clean, tidy, and the owner was very quick to respond to messages and sent the house manager within 20 minutes to help with something. After seeing the different towns in Lake Como, Menaggio was 100% the best to stay in. The town is so cute and felt a bit more spacious with less tourists compared to the others. A good amount of delicious restaurant options and a quick walk to the ferry. The house was exactly what we needed and the pictures do a good job showing what it is like. It is up on a hill with a convenient walking path to the town. Down to town was an easy 5 minutes, getting back to the house was a true uphill but only took 8 minutes and we really enjoyed the walk back after dinner. The views of the lake/town from the house and on the walk are breathtaking. We also had a car that we parked near the house easily with their parking pass.

Pure relaxation - our stay at Villa Maymagon made us forget everyday life. We particularly enjoyed the garden with the direct lake access. We had our sup board with us and were able to take fantastic rides on the lake. The house is large and stocked with everything you could need. Cristina, Paola's mother, welcomed us warmly and provided herself with delicacies again and again during our week there. Paola's brother Philip took over the communication beforehand; he always responded super quickly and was very friendly.
