Totally charming, tastefully modernized and appointed hideaway. The unit lacked for nothing. We loved having our own garden space. The hosts were delightful and considerate, friendly but non intrusive. I wish we could have stayed much longer....

Loved this lodge so much we didn't want to leave! It's even bigger and better in person - someone else here mentioned that the photos didn't do it justice and I'd agree. The hot tub was fantastic, and to top it all off I spotted a shooting star flying overhead on our last night. Who could ask for more?? Location was great too, with a gorgeous view of the lake on the doorstep. The local pub is 2 mins away and right by the Exe. You might be able to get a table overlooking the river if you get your timings right!

Great property in beautiful surroundings. Perfect for our young family, with so much to do. Hosts took great care to make us feel welcome. Looking forward to visiting again soon!
