Fantastic place. Beautiful environment!! German is so helpful and generous and kind. He also connected us with a driver for trips. He went above and took us to a waterfall and sightseeing in the mountains nearby. The dogs are super gentle and friendly. The neighborhood is gorgeous with flowers and fruit trees. 3 grocery stores and a bakery, amazing fruit and vegetable market and a cafe just a five minute walk away. Also a bus stop to take you into town to see the central market and farmers market! Highly recommended place to visit is German’s cabin.

Luis was a wonderful host. Very attentive and responsive, and had no problem answering our questions despite the language barrier. All the necessities were available, as well as extras we didn't expect. His family even gave us a small parting gift for each of my young children on our last day. The house is in a beautiful location; somewhat difficult to find at first through the winding mountain roads, but once we knew where it was it was nice to have such a private spot. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Having a morning coffee on the patio looking out over the valley was my favourite part of our trip!

First time my wife and I stayed here. Our son lives very close. This area is very clean and safe. It is close to bus route and a small store is a few minutes away. Area is quiet at night , with few barking dogs. We would stay again.

Our stay at Christa's guest house was simply wonderful! Christa was responsive and always very helpful. The house itself was as described: clean, well-appointed, everything we needed. The photos are spot-on. Definitely worth mentioning, the beds are super comfortable! The multi-acre property is just beautiful. It's incredibly private, boasting all sorts of fruit trees, a variety of birds, and visiting wildlife. Yet, despite feeling very private, you're only minutes from the charming mountain community of Tinamastes and its iconic farmer's market (the "feria"). And if you need to do some more serious shopping, the city of San Isidro is just 20 minutes away. Finally, and without a doubt, one of the highlights of Christa's property is the spectacular, 180-degree mountain view. The photos just don't do it justice! Plus, when the clouds roll in during the late afternoon, it feels like you could literally reach out and touch them. I'm already planning my next visit – it was that good!
