We had a wonderful stay in this rustic farm with 6 adults and 2 children. Perfect for relaxing in the greenery. Also a very good base for day trips to the coast. We have enjoyed it!

Gite Le Relais du Manoir

MinaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Nice estate and good location. The manor consists of 3 clean bedrooms with a bathroom with toilet in each bedroom. The living rooms are pleasant and composed of the essentials for a stay. A welcome for 8 adults and 5 children was very suitable. The host welcomed us warmly and his close presence allows for significant flexibility if we need to ask for it. The outdoor spaces are open but independent of the reception area, allowing privacy and a large space for our four-legged friends. Thanks again for our stay.

T2 Duchesse Anne - Saint Malo Intra Muros

If you want to stay in the historic centre and don’t mind the stairs this is a great place. Well taken care of and can feel at home. Tight squeeze with four people but still works. Just note you need to park some distance away from house especially if you don’t want to pay parking charges.

Chateau de Tocqueville, heritage to share

ZheRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Staying in Stephanie and her family’s Chateau de Tocqueville was absolutely a five star experience to us. We spent three night here in the castle but found it’s absolutely not enough to experience the property. We could utilize four floors with five stylish bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen and salon on the ground floor plus the pond, tennis court, biking area…and more. It’s a perfect place to spend a few days or weeks. We spent a few hours to read Alexi de Tocqueville’s books (but only finished one fifth of the book) in the place where he wrote the book, the feeling was so special and we felt like becoming the witness to the history.

A Château for the price of a House 6 bedrooms/13 people + (opt 4 bedrooms)

TomRating, 5 stars3 months ago
“Firstly, Xavier was the consummate host - communicative, helpful, and friendly. When two of our guests weren’t feeling well, he was especially attentive and considerate, offering assistance with great care. The property and our stay were wonderful. The castle is just as described, if not better - it feels both cozy and expansive at the same time. It is warm and welcoming, and the surrounding village is charming. Plus, there are plenty of unique sites and places to explore within a 15–20 minute drive. For a relaxing and special experience, Xavier’s place was perfect.”

We forgot a suitcase and products in the fridge forcing us to come back 2 times to our host who, each time, was lovely. We would highly recommend this very large apartment for large tribes!! Hugues

Seacombe, Luxury 4 bed cottage near Corfe Castle

AnneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house is very attractive, with modern, tasteful furnishings, a well appointed kitchen and utility and a pretty garden. The staircase is quite steep, but our three year old toddler managed it safely. Although the house is on the High Street, there is minimal traffic noise. The garden is sunny and full of comfy garden furniture. It is enclosed, so safe for dogs and children. Nothing to find fault with apart from the directions offered at the start. It is in fact opposite the pub - Kings Arms. Not opposite a post office, which does not exist !
A spacious property is set in a lush green landscape, featuring two distinct buildings. One house showcases a dark roof and white walls, while the other displays a rustic charm. Rolling hills and trees surround the area, enhancing the serene outdoor environment.

Roques Mansion

MarjorieRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Review Manoir des Rogues Is truly is a magical place. We were totally amazed by the gorgeous ancient chateau and were transported back in time while living there. Making meals in this ancient but well appointed kitchen and eating outside while overlooking the Seine will always be an incredible memory for all of our family. We chose this chateau for a family reunion including children and it checked many of the boxes including lots of space for the kids to play outside. It is decorated with very authentic, delicate furniture and furnishings so one should be mindful of that if staying here with children.

Family manor in the Vexin, 1 hour from Paris.

PabloRating, 5 stars33 months ago
The property was absolutly wonderful, the photos don’t do it justice! I particularly appreciated the garden with its beautiful array of trees and patches of forest. The estate was so vast I dont think we made it to the edge. The house was extremly private and out of sight of any neighbours. The house itself was spacious and comfortable, so were the beds. I was working online and the internet connection was good, even with multiple connections, with a very nice dedicated workspace. The kitchen had every appliance imaginable, with enough crockery for a banquet! While I was there the trees were ripe with fruit and we were treated to pears, apples, rasberries, blackberries, stawberries, grapes and more. The chickens generously provided us with fresh eggs every morning and the peacocks were not only beautiful to watch but also friendly. Not to talk about the wild forna including squirels, pheasents, woodpekers and other small birds… It was a pleasure meeting Philippe who not was an excellent host; showing us around the property and being helpful with our questions, but also an excellent cook, perparing traditional french food for us per our request. He was fun to be around. Overall a great experience, we are already planning when we can visit again!

Château La Monge, Perche

AnnabelleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Even better than the photos — a magical place that we recommend with eyes closed, and where we hope to come back very soon! The ++: sumptuous residence, vast and superb castle estate, neat and tasteful decoration, home cinema (which can also be connected via AirPlay), bar, pool table, swimming pool (pleasant even when it is not heated!), very well equipped kitchen (and everything of good quality), beautiful dining room (with, once again, beautiful dishes and cutlery, as well as very beautiful table textiles), rooms each more beautiful than the other, very good communication, caretakers but discreet but very nice pets and farmhouse, breakfast supplements, fresh/fresh juices delivered with care every morning, quickly accessible from Paris, and SuperU 5 mins away... the list is endless! The –: That we couldn't stay longer! Thank you Françoise, M.&M. for an unforgettable stay. See you soon!

We stayed at the place in Quimperle for a little over a week. The place is very nice, great corners, delicious restaurants and a great playground on the river. From there you could easily make excursions to other cities and beaches. Above all, we enjoyed the coastal hikes as a family.

Studio at Château de Locquéran

ThierryRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Very nice place, very quiet and superb building. Very comfortable studio. Access to shops and the Port of Audierne on foot, 10 min. As Jean François recommended, a walk to do is the Pointe du Van. A little extra, stop at the restaurant "Le Pilleur d'Épaves", go to the small room on your right and you will understand why the bay is called "La Baie des Trépassés". We are lucky to have good weather.

2 Bedrooms Jean François Millet at Manoir Martigny

MassudRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a wonderful and underrated spot. Firstly, Wilfrid was an amazing host. Always available, very attentive, and Gallic hospitality at its best. He was extremely flexible in all aspects (from check-in, use of spa, and time to eat breakfast). We mistakenly slept in one morning and we were able to eat a proper breakfast at 1130. Extremely clean and a serene environment. A very immersive Normandy experience. The house is very old but fully renovated as it is a passion project for Wilfrid who has spent generations in the house.

La Demeure du Domaine de Tertu - 12 people

VinorthRating, 5 stars1 month ago
🌟 5/5 - A perfect weekend in an exceptional place! We had an absolutely great weekend at this beautiful Airbnb. The accommodation is spacious, very well decorated and perfectly equipped. The pool was a real treat, especially with the beautiful weather we had, and the barbecue area contributed greatly to the friendly atmosphere of our stay. Small downside: the road to access the accommodation was not easy to find at first, and a light bulb and a showerhead were no longer working when we arrived. Fortunately, the concierge was very responsive, available and super flexible — everything was resolved quickly! The cleanliness was good, and communication with the hosts was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. A big thank you again for this beautiful break. We'll be happy to go back!
