Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ellesmere Port

A very comfortable and cosy overnight stay. Very clean and well equipped. A really useful information book provided too on the area and anything you might need to know about your stay. Only one downside is there is no private parking outside the property as its on a narrow, quite busy little road. You can park just 150m away, but you do have transport your luggage back & forth along the narrow road. Despite this, we would definitely stay here again and the real log fire was a welcome bonus on a wet and chilly evening.

A cosy stay in a tranquil idyll. The Farmhouse is a lovely quiet nook in a beautiful part of the countryside. Our host, Jennie, was very attentive providing a very lovely welcome package and giving us peace and privacy throughout our stay. The cottage was super clean with comfortable beds and we were able to make great use of the whole house. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to book again.

No complaints about this house at all - everything was perfect! Beautiful surroundings and just a short walk to a lovely little pub and restaurant. Would definitely return!

Great stay , everything we needed was there and more, nice touch with fresh milk. Although we were held up getting there she had lit the fire to make it even more pleasant. Comfortable bed , great shower . Will definitely return when we’re up this way again

The Coach House was recommended to us by my daughter in law and we were not disappointed. Gorgeous cottage with beautiful views and everything needed for a comfortable relaxing stay. My sister and I were welcomed by Ed who explained the log burning fire and hot tub to us. The quality of decor and furnishings was excellent and the bed was extremely comfortable. Very easy to find and not far from some great pubs and we enjoyed a visit to Nantwich for some Christmas shopping. A truly great place in which to unwind and I will definitely be returning.

Beautiful quiet converted barn/farmhouse surrounded by countryside but not far from interesting towns. The beds were super comfy and it was lovely to have a hot bath. I only wish we’d stayed long enough to make up a fire in the log burner. Our host was very friendly and we much appreciated our late check out after a late night. Highly recommend and would stay again.

We went to see Antony Gormley’s Another Place Lynne’s place is less than 5 minutes from the beach where the statues are. Perfect location for us and we were blessed with great weather

We had a great stay, place was easy to find and get into. The apartment was a good size with plenty of space in the bedrooms for luggage etc and plenty of storage for clothes. Really quite area, didn't hear any noise at all. Kitchen had those important little extras (pint of milk in the fridge, tea bags, coffee) and handsoap in all bathrooms. Just that little bit of thought that makes a stay more convenient.

The flat was exactly as described and pictured and just what we wanted. Really clean, comfortable, warm and well stocked with extra towels, bedding etc, milk and margarine in the fridge, a loaf of bread, tea, coffee etc and herbs, tins in the cupboard. Although a few businesses nearby with a bit of associated noise during the day, lovely and quiet at night so no sleep disturbance at all. I'd highly recommend it. We were on a family visit and would definitely book it again next time ...

Polly was a fantastic host, friendly, helpful and accommodating when we wanted to extend our stay a couple more days. Absolutely loved the vibe of the neighbourhood, had plenty within walking distance and able to park easily. We had everything we needed in Polly’s home and it felt like home from home. Polly even had the futon sofa made up as an additional bed upon our arrival. We come to Chester often and will definitely stay again.

Lovely property with loads of space and very well located for local shops and restaurants. Hosts were very helpful and assisted us with finding somewhere safe to store our bikes on site.

I have NOTHING negative to say about Gary or the Cottage. Warm, cosy and peaceful Cottage, Home from home and we felt instantly comfortable. A good sized bedroom with a large ensuite bathroom with bath and another large bathroom with shower off the hall. Kitchen stocked with absolutely everything including welcome cakes, milk and lager. The outdoor space is just stunning! We loved a cuppa sat on the swing seats whilst overlooking the large pond and all the wildlife. We had visiting ducks and 2 of the largest swans I’ve ever seen. Beautiful, peaceful and private hot tub which is just gorgeous. We found it so relaxing in the evening whilst it was raining. Really nice ambience with pretty lighting and complete privacy. Gary was a friendly, helpful host. Was always on hand and we asked if he had any dvd’s we could watch and he called with a huge box of all genres. Nothing was too much trouble. We absolutely loved our break and we will def be going back! Thank you Gary!

Ed’s place is in Birkenhead, but only one underground stop from Liverpool docks area and is very convenient for Liverpool. Hamilton Square is impressive and Ed’s place is very comfortable.

Chris and Sian’s property was perfect in every way, not only did it have everything we needed for a relaxing break but it was also less than a two minute walk from the racecourse and 5 minutes from the city walls and while we were there we were also lucky enough to enjoy the fireworks held at the racecourse. Chris couldn’t have been more responsive and helpful prior to, and during our stay and I would certainly recommend staying here if you are thinking of visiting / exploring Chester, it is a stunning property in an ideal location
