Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

Nature's Nest

Unwind and immerse yourself in nature at this cozy cabin overlooking Timber Coulee Creek. Large living room windows and a spacious deck provide you with a bird’s eye view of the rippling river and many types of wild life. Deer amble through the property; eagles soar and keep an eagle eye on everything. Turkeys, squirrels, coons, and myriad of birds go about their business in this serene environment. One Bedroom with Kitchenette - Red Door

Our convenient in-town one-bedroom has recently been converted! One room has a queen bed, other room as a comfy fold out couch. It has a well-equipped kitchenette with a sink, microwave, apartment fridge/freezer, Kuerig coffee maker and more. It also has a full bath. This apartment is on Main Street and can be a bit noisy from the traffic during the day and in the morning. It is generally quieter at night but bring earplugs if this bothers you.

Decorah House • Bright, sunny, walk downtown!

This apartment is on the second floor of a historic brick house just five blocks from downtown Decorah. The renovated space is full of natural light, handmade furniture, and plenty of books. The space includes a full bathroom, small kitchen, table, and seating area. Pulpit Rock Brewing Co, La Rana Bistro, Impact Coffee, Oneota Food Coop, Hotel Winneshiek, Vesterheim and all of downtown is an easy walk.
