Great place to stay, spotlessly clean close to Whitby and great pub in village. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place so quaint and very quiet which was a bonus as it was Whitbys Goth weekend which was extremely busy and we could relax . Thank you Rebecca and Jack for allowing us to stay

Katy and Stephen were great hosts. Katy made sure I had plenty of notice on how to find the accomodation and how to get in. Fully equiped kitchen and easy to use washing machine. The bed was amazing!!!! So comfortable. Really close to Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby, but really quiet - which was lovely after the madness of the Coast on a sunny long weekend.

Had a wonderful stay at The Cake Store. Everything has been well designed to give you the comforts of home condensed in a great space. It was a thoughtful touch to leave cake to be enjoyed with a cuppa on arrival too! Despite being next to a road it is in a very peaceful setting. There is a bench to sit out the front and another in a field behind the property. The village is a short walk (15 mins) downhill and has a shop, tearooms and village pub.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though it was only for one night. We wish it could have been a bit longer. We enjoyed the extra goodies and snacks etc. that were waiting for us on arrival. The view out of the lounge and bedroom windows is fantastic. The house has everything you could want on your stay. We spent our day in Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay. Both lovely places and well worth the visit. We would definitely return again and thoroughly recommend staying here.
