In the cottage, you live a basic life, close to nature in a beautiful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly planted food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

Beautiful 2-person apartment in rural Veendam

The B&B is an apartment with its own entrance, private shower/toilet room, and is within cycling distance of the station in Veendam, from where the train leaves for the beautiful city of Groningen. There is also a lot to see in the province itself. However, after a busy day, you will always return to the tranquility and space of B&B HoutStee. You can relax under the veranda, enjoy bird sounds. Possibly in good weather, use the BBQ. Everything is available for this. You also have 2 bicycles at your disposal.

Your towel is ready, the bed is made! Suitable for 2 people, complete kitchen (dishwasher, combination microwave, Senseo switch) sitting area with flat screen and WiFi. Bedroom with en-suite bathroom (designer radiator, underfloor heating). Private entrance, parking, terrace with seating. Quietly located and only 10 minutes by bike to the center of Veendam. Directly at the entrance of Borgerswold park and a nice starting point for bike rides, don't forget to visit Groningen.

Next to our 1904 house on the outskirts of Gasselte is the fully furnished guest house that is entirely at your disposal. Pretty private one-room apartment with bathroom and kitchenette in a pretty look awaits dear guests! The apartment is located in a detached house . PAPENBURG is about 6 km away. Beautifully quiet location. Magnificent view of untouched nature, orchard meadow. You can relax there. Nearby is the Altenkamp estate with various exhibitions and concerts. Although the apartment is in my house, you have your own entrance area.

Beautifull chalet/tiny house near "Drentsche Aa"

Our small chalet lies in the middle of the most beautifull nature of the Netherlands: the National Park of the Drentsche Aa and the Unesco Geopark of the Hondsrug, on a very quiet camping. It is furnished light and harmonious. The house is suitable for couples and singles, not for children. Overnight stay with 2 persons maximum. No pets. Non smoking (except on the terrace).
