The cottage was exactly as it was in the description. Host jaqueline kept us well informed and if there was a problem, we could text her and we got an answer right away. We felt very welcome!

Wonderful place to stay for a few days! Nice and quiet and also very private, which is nice if you want to use the hot tub. The cottage itself is very cozy and cosy, the bed is lovely with a soft duvet. With the rain on the roof very cozy ; ) The bathroom has everything you need and also very nice that you can preheat your towel on the large radiator. The kitchen offers enough to cook for yourself and looks very clean and tidy. Incidentally, it applies to the entire cottage! I loved the mood lighting in the cottage and the electric fireplace! And Ilze is really a friendly host, who responds quickly and thinks along with you: ) All in all, a wonderful stay with, if you cross the main road, immediately a forest for hiking. You can also rent bicycles at the reception for a reasonable price ( note: no bicycle basket!) Tip: On Sundays, all shops in Voorthuizen are closed, for example if you want to go to A.H;) All in all Ilze's cottage is highly recommended!!

A beautiful house that matches the pictures & description all around. Well-maintained, modern and really well equipped. As well as the outdoor area with three seating options, barbecue and the spacious lawn area. The contact was always pleasant, friendly and timely.

Beautiful location, super complete house! Everything was present and worked excellently. Plenty of space, nicely decorated. Great beds, we enjoyed it great!

Our stay at "Place under the trees" was wonderfully relaxed. You walk from the cottage in no time into the woods for a nice walk and during the autumn you get a beautiful confetti with every gust of colored leaves. After the walk, settle in the cozy living room by the fireplace with a book or under the skylight at the dining table. There are plenty of books and magazines to entertain your hours. Or you can go into the sauna or hot tub. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing a simple meal. We also slept wonderfully under the thick duvets. In short, everything you need for a relaxing weekend, away from the hustle and bustle, is present. We will come back in the summer to also enjoy the swimming pond.

Alles Top. Unfortunately, the dishes were a little dirty, but it can be fixed quickly! Always happy to stay again!

Very nice house in absolutely idyllic surroundings. You get used to the boat handling quickly. The house is well furnished, we and our two teenagers felt very comfortable. Supermarkets and restaurants surrounding restaurants. You can get to Utrecht and Amsterdam quickly. Highly recommended!

We had the absolute best time staying at Nicolette’s beautiful home! She was so wonderful and made sure that we had everything we needed. The location is beautiful situated with the best river view and the town of Maarssen is just a few minutes down the road. We would highly recommend that anyone visiting this area should stay here! Nicolette is very kind and is a wonderful and attentive host!!!!

Lex was a great host, communication was easy, friendly, and quick. Thank you for that! In the apartment I felt right at home, it is clean and comfortably furnished, the kitchen is fully equipped, it has everything you need. Parking right outside the front door. Charging facilities for electric cars in adjacent streets (was always something available). The surrounding area is very nice, you can easily walk to downtown, there are restaurants, cafes and shopping. I'd love to come back :)

Absolutely recommended! The accommodation was full of comforts and Antoinette was a great hostess: friendly, proactive and all kinds of tips for the region!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming with great local suggestions and they made sure they were there to help if you need it. It is perfect location to get around the city with really good transport links. The area is beautiful with shops and food places a very short walk away. Jeremy suggested the pizza from Veronica’s which is down the road and we loved it! The house is lovely and absolutely huge. There were four of us staying and there was plenty of room. It is decorated beautifully and the beds are very comfortable, we slept very well every night. We would definitely return again as we didn’t even want to leave! Thank you for such a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Nicole's place. Nicole sent us recommendations perfectly to our taste and was very friendly. The accommodation is nicely located and also the summer house is really cozily furnished - we felt very comfortable. We will be happy to come back.

We had an amazing two-month stay at this lovely place! The neighborhood is fantastic for families, especially if you enjoy peaceful walks, greenery, and animals. Very close to the house, there are multiple playgrounds, which was perfect for us. Plus, public transportation makes it easy to reach nearby towns (highly recommend to visit: Edam). The hosts were exceptional—always responsive, incredibly thoughtful, and provided us with tons of local insights. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The house itself is great! It’s spacious with beautiful natural light, a big garden, and even a sauna for extra relaxation. We couldn’t have been happier with this arrangement and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay.

We stayed with 7 friends in the beautiful house. Very stylish and cozily furnished. Beautiful views, and quiet location. We walked the Bellopad from Wilnis to Vinkeveen; a fun activity nearby! Arrad was easily accessible.

The house is beautifully situated in a lovely neighborhood. Day car excursions were easy and brought us to beautiful snd interesting places. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked to make meal preparations easy . We were four adults and found the rooms and beds comfortable . Highly recommend this venue.

Nice base to get off to Amsterdam, Utrecht, Volendam... If the weather is nice, definitely recommended to do this by bike. The house is spacious and nice to stay. The neighborhood is quiet and all merchants and restaurants in Abcoude are within walking distance. Highly recommended!
