The cottage was exactly as it was in the description. Host jaqueline kept us well informed and if there was a problem, we could text her and we got an answer right away. We felt very welcome!

We had a comfortable stay in their small and cosy house. Communication with the hosts was very friendly and quick. They shared useful information on how to travel to Amsterdam and Haarlem. Thanks so much for letting us stay at your place 😊

I can not recommend staying at this location more! I have travelled the world a few times and this location has been one of the few places where I WILL return. The hosts are incredible! I never imaged the experience that we received from the hosts. If they offer you a tour of the mill, do not say no. Their communication was amazing. They offered to help us more than anyone else has ever done, showing they are here to help you have a wonderful stay. Their property is breathtaking. To wake up hearing the birds and being greeted by not one, but four of their lovely animals was a real treat. The one advisory for anyone thinking about staying here is the stairs to the loft. The stairs are steep and shallow. If you are nervous about steep stairs/ladders, reach out to the host before booking. I loved the experience personally but I can see it would not be for everyone. Check out their house boat if stairs are not your thing. That location also looks amazing! Don't think, just book!

We were able to stay 3 nights in the beautiful house of Jacqueline and Martien. It was a nice, cozy, cozy cottage with luxury amenities (coffee maker, oven, bath, television). Communication with Jacqueline was also very smooth and nice! Upon arrival there was even a bottle of wine ready for us that we enjoyed very much 😌

We had a very nice time in the cottage! It's so much provided really super. Nice fireplace and hottub. Highly recommendable.

We were in Eveline's house with five friends. It is really a beautiful and cozy house, with a lovely garden and a nice hot tub. The house is fully equipped, very Scandinavian and exudes a very nice atmosphere. Also in terms of crockery, glasses, herbs, etc., you will find everything in her house in abundance. In short, recommended

Astrid was extremely friendly and responsive. The bnb is super cozy and easy to travel around from. She has a beautiful cat which paid us a few visits too! Would love to come back :)

I was here only two nights, but it felt right at home. The studio has amazing design, it really is a pleasure to be inside, then you look out of the window and you get delightful views over the water to match. The table offers a very nice area to work from, for those that need it. The hosts have very good attention to detail and are very welcoming and thoughtful. You can tell a lot of love has been put in the house, it was a privilege to stay and it is easy to recommend to others!

We had an extremely comfortable stay here in a very comfortable and homely bnb in beautiful surroundings. The host Carmen was fantastic. The house was clean and well maintained with a great fireplace and a gym full of top of the range equipment. Definitely give the sauna a go. This is a perfect place for a small group of people, or couple, to go to relax, get away from the touristy cities and enjoy a more rural laid-back part of The Netherlands. I'd definitely go back.

we absolutely loved our stay! It marked the end of our trip through Holland and certainly served as the perfect place to unwind and relax. As soon as you arrive and are welcomed into this beautiful oasis you feel comfort. We loved the added bonus of feeding Wooly and Winnie (the goats) and diva the cat! great set up inside, perfect for accommodating our little one :) Thank you both so much for your hospitality we would most definitely come back and recommend your home. We absolutely loved our stay at Quintie and Jan Peter's! beautiful place, lovely and cosy. We arrived without luggage, and they were so helpful. Without a washing machine at the accomodation, they picked up and washed our stuff so we had clean clothes again. The boys even got to enjoy a ride in the bakfiets with Quintie! Lovely stay, lovely people, definitely would recommend!

Beautiful spacious flat with comfortable bed and a large and luminous salon to relax, listen to music, and just enjoy beeing there. We stayed for a week and would have loved to stay longer. Nanda and Ben are wonderful and generous hosts, and even when they were abroad, we received answers in no time. Both and excellent cafe (Cornelis) and restaurant (Donders) are close by, and the city centre isn´t far away either.

Paul responds quickly, to the point and friendly. Gorgeous home - everything as good as new - luxury amenities. Plenty of cutlery, dishes, etc. Clean, beautiful bathrooms, great shower. Good beds. However, a tip to turn all thermostats on cold/blue upon arrival (unless you like warm bedrooms). But then great temperature in bedrooms and slept well. Also be careful with the extractor hood (I hit my head a few times). Paul is already working on a solution to that. Overall had a wonderful time there - highly recommended!

Great, cozy place to stay in if you want something close to Amsterdam, but nice and quiet. Great to be on the water, supermarket/shops in a nice picturesque town 5 mins from the house and you’ll drive into Amsterdam in 10 mins. Host super responsive and smooth and flexible checkin and checkout. Recommend!

Our stay has exceeded our expectations. The place has been upgraded since the photos in terms of some furniture. With a group of 18 people you have a lot of nice places and it never feels too small. Really a unique place to stay. Beds and amenities were fantastic and the garden and surroundings are really great too. I'm in a 5-star hotel Of course, you have to make your breakfast yourself. :) I think it's really worth it.

The home is very nice. Spacious, but doesn’t feel huge (which is good). Beds were okay considering the price. The surroundings are very nice, peaceful and private. Nice big garden as well and enough space for dinner with the two big tables. There are some minor finishing things that could be improved (holes in the wall where outlets used to be, a lamp fixture on the ceiling that just has wires sticking out and outlet covers that come loose), but overall it is very well maintained and everything is in working order. We did not find scissors or a dishwashing brush, so had to get those ourselves. Taking everything into account it was an excellent weekend and would definitely recommend this home for larger groups.

This is a top spot for a weekend getaway with a larger group. The facilities are everything you want to relax for a weekend
