Cottage vacation rentals in Eastern Scheldt

The accommodation was great! We have enjoyed the beautiful location at the holiday home. The home was completely as in the pictures. The Bornem area is beautiful for biking and hiking. The jacuzzi on the terrace of the house overlooking the pond, was blissful after a long cycling day. Just a pity that we had to provide bed linen and towels ourselves. Thank you sooo much Tim!

We had a lovely time in IJsselstein, it is a wonderful cottage with peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Jokelien was a fantastic host, very flexible and helpful. Can only recommend, would love to come back!

Perla's geusthouse was superb, everything about both Perla and the house was amazing from the moment we got there - beating our expectations for the property and hosting skills. We had an amazing time and would 100% recommend this air bnb to anyone looking for a super relaxing, cosy, clean, private, easy to get to and accommodation with plenty of available amenities, including (but not limited to) hot tub, outdoor seating and bbq, cosy well equipped indoor kitchen and living room. 10/10 would stay again!

Cozy, clean cottage with large garden. Quietly located, private. The hot tub was a nice extra. The cottage is 1 open space (upstairs large bedroom with all beds, open stairs, downstairs living room, bathroom separate). So when our kids were asleep, we had to sit outside or they'd hear us too loud. No problem for us because the garden is very cozy but in a colder season it is important for families with bad sleepers like ours. Jan was friendly and helpful. The hot tub was warm as soon as we wanted to get in. And other questions were answered immediately. Everything is fine!

We found a lovingly designed, in every way very well-equipped house. Everything was like described and as pictured. The house is quietly located very close to the dunes. In the garden we saw a rabbit almost every day. Esther, the manager, was very friendly and responded super quickly and immediately found solutions for everything. We enjoyed our stay and would vacation here again. Thank you!

Du was a superb host. super friendly. She organised a breakfast delivery personally for our first morning as it was my husbands 60th birthday. Champagne and a bread basket full of delights! We had a wonderful relaxing 3 night break. The facilities were super. Hot tub, sauna, pool. The kitchen was well equipped and like new. The bed was good quality. We slept downstairs and didnt use the up stairs apartment, but had the use of the entire retreat. I loved the African inspired decor. Very stylish. All in all, a 5☆ experience. We cannot wait to visit again.

What a beautiful and inviting lake home very close to Gouda and all local transportation. It was fast travel to Rotterdam and only an hour from Amsterdam / both were easy access through the local train station Gouda Gowervelle. We enjoyed all the running and biking paths along the lake and canals. Shopping and sightseeing in Gouda was fun as well! (Enjoyed the cheese museum which is perfect for kids of all ages. ) The lake house was a perfect setting, neighbors are friendly and quiet and the home is spacious enough for 4 or small families and it’s simply beautiful . Enjoyed!! Great hosts and very responsive! Highly recommend.

The house was a 10 out of 10 for us. The location of the house, the amenities, the wonderful balcony towards the water with the ducks was simply an absolute dream.

We had wonderful days at Frederika's, the place looks even prettier in real life than in the pictures. Special highlight in addition to the incredibly beautiful view - the rowboat! Which we were allowed to borrow free of charge! Small but nice. Would definitely recommend it! Note: Wi-Fi is certainly not required in such an environment, but would have made the stay even more pleasant. Thank you!

Our stay at Michiel's was very enjoyable. As a couple with a dog, the house was a cozy place where we lacked nothing. The kitchen is well equipped and has various appliances. We prefer to bring some utensils, kitchen knives, for example, ourselves. There was plenty of space to store the bicycles and the terrace and garden, as well as the tranquility and the well-kept outdoor areas also contributed to the relaxation. We will be happy to come back.

Had a great stay. Close to Antwerp and Ghent, which was the main reason for our stay. But still peace around you when you were at the cottage. Our dog also had a great time. He played nicely with sweet dog Bo.

Warm, friendly welcome from our host. This accommodation is clean, generous & well presented and is conveniently located for Bruges, local walks and amenities and for connection to other local towns and locations. The accommodation has everything you need for a comfortable stay and would suit walkers and cyclists (it has an integral garage) and there is adequate local on-street parking. We would definitely stay here again

We stayed in Louella's house for 1.5 weeks and felt very comfortable. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and the bathroom is a dream. Communication with Louella was super straightforward. She answered questions immediately and provided help. The house had the perfect starting point for us for bike rides or trips to the beach. We would highly recommend it:)

The reception by Llyn was particularly friendly! It was indeed a fairytale house, with surprisingly plenty of space. Plenty of amenities both inside and outside. Great beds, hand and kitchen towels available. Also a supply to make coffee/tea. In the bathrooms, a complete set of care products. Very nice that there were 3 toilets! And good blackout curtains in the bedrooms. The area is very quiet and beautiful! The house is in a nature reserve, hiking and cycling are plentiful. In the village itself there is not much to do, but there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Had a lovely weekend with 6 friends!

At Paulien's place we experienced Dutch hospitality. The place where the guest house is located is just wonderful. Nature, water channels, ducks and geese. If a person wants to relax from stress, this is just a wonderful place. The house was clean, smelled fresh, everything necessary was there. We were made to feel welcome there. Paulien had respected our privacy, but at the same time she was always ready to provide support and assistance. It was a wonderful holiday and we hope we will be able to visit them again.

Jolanda and Folco were super friendly and we felt absolutely comfortable in their cozy Airbnb and garden. their dog was a pleasure too! We would definitely stay with them again!

Eric and Lut's cottage is a fantastic accommodation where you can discover the friendly character of the two hosts at every corner. You can't imagine how much love and heart is in it. Even the windows have their own story. The reception and hospitality of Eric and Lut gave us the feeling of home from the first moment. Everything has been thought of in the smallest detail in the accommodation, even games for our children. And the air hockey match was the cherry on top. The accommodation is not only highly recommended. If you are in Belgium, you should definitely stop by here. It couldn't be better. P.S.: The interior design deserves a prize.

We enjoyed the little cottage, which is really nicely renovated and equipped. The lakeside location is also simply idyllic! Communication with Adri and Belinda was very quick and extremely friendly. Beautiful, spacious house with a cozy atmosphere and wonderful beds. Recommended if you are looking for a quiet area and want to visit Bruges and Sluis.

Nathalie's accommodation is outside the center of Ghent. On weekdays, a very frequent tram makes it easy to get there. A little more difficult on weekends. It's possible to park your car for free about 100 meters from the accommodation. A perfect base also for getting to Bruges or Brussels. The place is really great. Welcoming, warm, very well decorated. A small house with its garden at the back. Everything is very well thought out, clean and simply beautiful. It feels like home. As for Nathalie, she is a warm and caring host. She welcomes you to her home with the greatest kindness and we feel that she wants you to be well for the time of your stay.
