Koorayn is a 15 acre property located 3.1km (or a 4min drive) from Dunkeld, the ”Gateway to the Grampians". The house has a retro and individualized charm. This is the perfect place for you to enjoy the calming landscape and abundant wildlife. The living area and bedroom have generous windows facing the mountains with ample opportunities to watch grazing kangaroos and birds. The deck is equipped with a BBQ and outdoor furniture, facing the stunning Grampians. Hope to see you there. Claudia
“Claudia's home is the best Airbnb ever. The wildlife and setting is amazing. Claudia provides breakfast food and drinks and the amenities are top notch. The home is clean, comfortable, spacious yet cozy. It was so nice to have both a washer and dryer as well as a clothes line. The kitchen is very well equipped, also. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”
The cottage is light and airy with full picture windows facing the mountains, this includes the main bedroom. A deck also allows outdoor access of the same views. It is fully self contained and you do not have to share any part of it with others not in your group.
“Just fantastic. Great location if you’re visiting Dunkeld or the Royal Mail Hotel/Wickens (1.5-2km walk but they actually drove us home after dinner anyway). The cottage is lovely and has all you could need, but the view is just insane. Every morning was coffee on the deck looking at the most amazing view of Mt Sturgeon and Mt Abrupt (best view in Dunkeld), and watching the kangaroos and parrots. Perfect. Heather is amazing too - so quick to respond and so helpful!!”
This cosy wooden cottage was lovingly built by its owner. It is wall to wall wood with a wonderful exposed slanting ceiling and a set of stairs leading up to the mezzanine. There are 2 verandas for relaxing outside and a beautiful fireplace for keeping you warm in winter!
“We had a wonderful stay at this lovely timber cottage in Dunkeld. It’s very close to town and very serene. It’s clean, well equipped, and has a wonderful balcony upstairs for a relaxing drink and read. Definitely recommend a weekend getaway here! P.S. also nearby to visit are Wickens @ Royal Mail Hotel and The Old Bakery (great coffee and breakfast!)”
