We had a wonderful stay and will absolutely book again next time we're on the Island! The cottage is cozy, private, and perfect, exactly as described. Listing photos don't do justice to the lovely surroundings - we stayed in autumn and so enjoyed all the beautiful trees on the property. Yes, you can use the outdoor shower in cold temps (40ish degrees during our stay) - it's bliss. And as others have mentioned, the cottage is very well insulated. We were able to run the space heater until we were comfy, turned it off, and didn't need to turn it back on again. We even used the screened porch in the chillier night air, just bundle up and bring out one of the extra blankets provided. Highly recommend a stay here!!

Great spot in West Tisbury! Quaint and secluded for staying in, but not far away from the downtown areas of MV for a night out.

Fantastic is the most appropriate word to describe our stay at the cottage. The location is very convenient to everything but it's also in a peaceful, private, wooded setting. The cottage is very close to perfect with a very comfortable but classy feel. It had everything we needed, had a fireplace that got used every night and the only bed we used in the master was as comfortable as ours at home. You can get to everything on MV in about 30 minutes but that's going from one tip of the island all the way to the Cliffs at the other end of MV. Each of the three towns (Vineyard Haven, Oaks Bluff and Edgartown) is within 2-15 minutes at most so it's a GREAT location for getting to all the places you'll want to spend time. Each has what we found to be a different personality/things to do. Marilyn's communication was stellar and she was beyond accommodating. This is one of our top 3 trips in 30+ years. The cottage makes it ideal and MV does not disappoint! Cannot wait to return!
