Will Definitely Stay Again on Next Trip! What an amazing stay right at a working marina where you have water views on 2 sides and can enjoy watching the inner workings of the life on the many lobster boats leaving every morning and returning at evening. The location was perfect for great restaurants, local shopping, and as a home base for all the hiking destinations. Arcadia Sailing is right there also; our sunset sail was picture perfect. The AirBnB was everything we had read about and hoped for. Parking was great, access convenient, the views of the harbor amazing. As met as a family from NC, TX and OH to cheer my daughter on in the MDI half-marathon. The living area was warm and comfortable, the kitchen well appointed, the bedrooms roomy with great beds and bathroom access. Everything was clean and tidy. Having a washer and dryer was a nice amenity. Molly was available to answer questions and make recommendations. The only negative was that our collective stay was too short!

What a cute little bungalow. A one room wonder. Milk House was easy to get to and had a couple walks to ocean views. Right on the main road but very quiet. We were prepared for the limited kitchen & were able to make 3 fabulous dinners. Get ready to unwind & unplug.

This was a beautiful apartment to stay in, the view to the Union river, and evergreen trees was absolutely gorgeous. The apartment was clean and well designed and had lots of space. A short walk to Josie‘s country store & Café every morning for breakfast was perfect. A quick drive into downtown Ellsworth, where there are lots of restaurants, shops and pubs, then a bit further to Acadia national park, roughly a half hour drive, in April. We loved hiking in Acadia on Bar Harbor Island. What a great visit to Maine!

Nancy and her place were awesome! The furniture was comfortable and functional and the view from the living room is so nice! It was so peaceful! We were here in late April and had 2 days of great weather and 2 days of rainy ish. Nancy had great recommendations for hikes and went out of her way to search for a kayak rental company for us (none were open as it was too early in the year but the fact that she researched it for us was so nice!). On the rainiest day we stayed in and just enjoyed the view and peace. We would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

We stayed with our 2 dogs for a little over a week and we had the best time! The cleanliness of the place was absolutely impeccable, the house was spacious and had everything we needed. Lots of restaurants/coffee shops nearby and the short drive to Acadia national park and Bar Harbor was super convenient. We’d absolutely come back and would recommend Dereks place to everyone.

Quiet and serene. We visited with 3 kids and our dog. We spend spring break here and being early in the season most stores and restaurants were jot yet open. We managed amd had good quality family time. Loved the area which had ample Preserves to go on one or two walks each day. The house was clean and had ample supplies from towesl to kitchenware. Highly recommend this spot. Thank you!

This property was awesome we were all very happy with the location, amenities, price and host. Hillary was polite and very helpful. This trip almost didn’t happen as our previous reservation was canceled 12 hours before check in from a different host. Luckily Hillary saved the week with her quick response time and answering questions about sleeping situations etc. would stay here again in a heart beat highly recommend!

My kids and I had an amazing time during our Labor Day weekend stay. The neighbors were so friendly and nice. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. A market nearby for quick things. My husband and I spent our babymoon at Jennifer’s place, and waking up to the stunning lake view each day was just what I needed to unwind. I asked Jennifer if there was cooking oil available, and her mom kindly brought us a bottle of olive oil before our arrival—such a thoughtful gesture! We will definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area.

Waterfront Farmhouse with Modern Flair!

The home was very welcoming and accommodating for our family of 5. The views were spectacular at sunrise, sunset and during the snowstorm. Bald Eagles and hawks would land in the trees right in front of the house. Also, there was a skating pond down the street my family love to visit almost each evening. There was an alarm going off as soon as we arrived, Debbi was incredibly fast responding and sending someone to check it out clear it up. On the plus someone came and plowed the driveway after the snowstorm it was great. She left a basket of local food and my family ate it up. We are so thankful for our relaxing week and would love to return.
