Monthly Rentals in Douro

We were seduced by the place. The house and gardens are superb. It's good to plan an extra day to enjoy it and to rest at the pool. Jet and Ronald offer meals and wine tasting that should not be missed for the experience and conviviality.

We absolutely loved this Airbnb. We have stayed at many - but this exceeded our expectations. The cabin is cosy and very comfortable with everything we needed. The views from this place are incredible. We deliberately didn’t close the blinds as we wanted to see the sunrise. The hot tub was a fab addition. We were on a 26 day drive of Spain and Portugal and this place was the best pit stop to just completely chill out. We walked to the local supermarket to pick up some provisions and just stayed at the cabin for the whole stay. Utterly fabulous place. They have also spent a lot of time and money on the gardens - the plants add to the atmosphere.

Loved our stay here. Gorgeous setting overlooking vines and the Douro river. Very quiet; lovely to sit out and enjoy the views any time of the day. The hosts (two brothers during our stay) were friendly, as were the adorable cats on the premises. Our suite was very comfortable. Great to be able to buy fresh bread and pastries from a truck in the morning, also to be able to buy wine on site. Would have liked to stay longer, but there is always next time.

Pedro's place was perfect for our group of four. Pedro was an awesome host and went above and beyond to have things we requested ready at his Airbnb, as we had a late arrival. Pedro was waiting for us out on the road when we got into town to help us with getting up to the house. All of his hospitality was very much appreciated after a long day of travel. All the little kitchen basics that were at the house were a plus too for cooking at the house. Thank you Pedro.
