WOW...WOW...WOW!! To say this place is amazing would be an understatement and there is no one word that would describe it all! It is absolutely stunning! Our stay at Troy's beautiful home was simply perfection in every way! it is an absolute must see and must stay and I am honored to be the first guest and write this spectacular review for a place so worth it! The neighborhood: Extremely safe, relaxing, and quiet - a retreat away from all of the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to Port of Spain and Maracas Beach. Nestled in a beautiful neighborhood with mountain views, this place is a hidden gem and we definitely have found a treasure with this one! The host: Troy is awesome, flexible and extremely accommodating! Communication prior to our arrival and during our stay was easy and he was always accessible. We had some changes with our travel dates and Troy was more than understanding and accommodating to our requests, he made everything super easy. We met Troy on the first day we arrived - he showed us the space, gave us the keys, and instantly made us feel as if his home was our home. He checked on us throughout our stay and even met him and a few of his friends out for drinks during the latter part of our stay! Troy is a real cool dude and so happy we got to spend some time to get to know more of him. The space: Incredibly beautifully designed, stylish and modern furnishings with a contemporary chic flair - this place is incredible! Open and airy with the most gorgeous natural light shining through every nook and cranny. Extremely spacious with captivating decor and intriguing pieces of art to visually indulge in. So many areas and spaces to just simply relax, enjoy, and appreciate the true beauty of this home! Every single area brought a level of peace and comfort and we were simply blown away, it was truly love at first sight. The kitchen is a dream!! Equipped with everything...and I do mean everything, for all of your cooking needs. Two large ovens, spacious refrigerator/freezer, gas stove that cooks to perfection, plenty of cabinet space, a beautiful kitchen island perfect for prepping meals with a bonus built in wine chiller! Plenty of utensils, cutlery, pots/pans, and a fancy Ninja coffee maker that served us the perfect brew every single morning! The living room/TV room: sooooo comfortable! Many of days/nights we just chilled and both of these spaces were shear perfection for relaxation and/or conversations! Perfect size smart TV with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime. The bedrooms/bathrooms: Roomy and spacious with comfortable and relaxing beds for a restful night. Every room has air conditioning, a TV, and adequate space to unpack and unwind. The bathrooms are beautiful - tiled walls with glass shower doors, one of the rooms has an ensuite which is absolutely perfect. There is also a bonus room/office space with a desk and comfy couch - perfect for work or study. Outdoor area: Large and spacious! We fired up the grill one night and enjoyed the night breeze with a clear view of the stars! The patio is meant to be enjoyed and that's exactly what we did during daytime and night. How do I rate the space and our overall stay? A PERFECT 20 out of 10!! Airbnb only allows up to 5 stars for ratings but Troy's home deserves well beyond that! We were not disappointed one bit - this place does not owe us a thing!! While I would love to keep it all to myself, it would be impossible to not recommend so you too (future guests) can enjoy and experience the same amazingness we did! Troy's place is a hidden gem and we have definitely found a treasure! BOOK your stay...you won't regret a single moment of it! I was looking for a place to lodge while attending the University of West Indies for a week. Traum House was my best option as it was approximately 5 minutes walk to the campus. The property was beautiful as seen in the pictures and meet all my expectations & security requirements- CCTV and was double gated . My room had a safety lock box which I also found useful.The pool was well maintained accessible all the time I wanted to relax. The host was phenomenal , they accommodated my my 6am check in and any requests I had throughout my stay. As a first time traveller to TT , the host took their time and gave me a brief tour around the area and drove to different places (more like a crush course about TT) throughout my stay and even offered to arrange a day to visit Maracas Bay. I was looking for a week stay but I got way more value for my money with their kind hospitality.Will be returning there soon in January and May 2024.

If I could put 6 stars for this place I would. The room and the pool area were very clean and well maintained. Monisha has stayed till 2am to welcome us. The host organized our excursions and drove us to them . On the last day we had to go to the airport at 4am and the taxi we booked did not show up. So we woke up our host and he drove us there. Upon arrival he refused to take any money for it. We really feel privileged to have been their guest! They are just amazing!

Book it. Just book it. You’ll be glad you did. Our apartment was huge. Freshly renovated. A/C in both bedrooms worked perfectly. Bedrooms are large! Gorgeous bathroom. Comfortable beds and pillows. Lots of storage space! Breakfast foods provided. Great location. Safe neighbourhood. I felt like I was at home. I absolutely loved Shelly’s place. It’s modern, affordable and in a great location. We had one small hiccup with the fridge not working on the first day and within the hour Shelly had a technician there to look at it. I cannot say enough good things about this place or Shelly. I’ve never experienced hospitality like this is in my life. Thank you Shelly. I can’t wait to return!

We hit the JACKPOT with this place! It was central to everything, spacious, clean, had great AC, new laundry machine - and most importantly the best host we’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. She provided so much food and snacks and local suggestions. She was always readily available for questions and did not cut any corners to make sure we were taken care of. I always wondered why people commented on their great hosts, but now I see that they literally can greatly improve an entire stay. She even attempted to help me save a stray dog by making some phone calls to local shelters. She loves her animals, guests, and her country. This place has all you can need - Stay here - you won’t be disappointed.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Richard's POS Eco Studio. The property is perched on a hill with a balcony and an outdoor kitchen area with an amazing view of the valley below. It is peaceful, scenic and private. If you are looking for a place to get away and just relax, I highly recommend this place. Richard was very responsive to all of my queries before I booked and he is even friendly in person.

I had a very wonderful at Cheri air bnb. She greeted upon check in. She was very responsive and friendly. Her family is also amazing and helpful taking us to and from carnival. She provided us with stuff to make breakfast and water. And even went to the grocery store for us. It was my first time in Trinidad and she made the experience wonderful with my stay at her air bnb.

Clean and secure and within walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants. The host was great and quickly responded to any of my questions/requests. I would defiantly book again.

This was my first Airbnb experience and it was a great one. My trip was a mixture of vacationing and shopping and I chose that location because I wanted to be in a "central location" where I had easy access to public transportation to the South and East side or the Capital itself. My check-in was a breeze, the host was there to greet me, provided a tour of the apartment and ensure I was comfortable. The apartment was comfortable and very quiet when it came to rest and relaxation. My room was spacious, ample room for two persons if needed. All amenities I needed were provided including internet and a TV with cable, thank you! Basic food items, water and snacks were provided so I didn't have to worry about getting any groceries right away. My host Ms. Marcia was wonderful. She was responsive when needed, she offered me great tips on moving around. She actually started preparing me before my arrival which I very much appreciated. I highly recommend Budget Trini Homestay Airbnb!

Ann was a great host. She let me check out late as my travel plans changed and was very hospitable. She was super responsive in the process and I had a seamless trip. The location of her place is in the middle of a bunch of good restaurants and bars. There’s the older local Trinidad bars which are a five minute all in one direction, a movie theater and outdoor mall in another and a modern restaurant and mall if you walk a different route. Ann’s place is in the center of this all. Her has Netflix from when you want to unwind from the hot Trinidad sun and the AC will cool you down in seconds. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

We had an amazing time. Monisha and Rajendra were really friendly and helped with so many things in terms of getting to places and recommendations. They made the whole experience great and made us feel like family. The house is spacious and wonderful, but I think the friendly experience is more than worth it and we are truly grateful.

This was my first time staying at an airbnb in Trinidad and my expectations were exceeded. The place was spotless and I felt very comfortable. The pool and outdoor area is very well done, clean and landscaped. Walking distance from the Main Road, major transport hubs, UWI, food and virtually all amenities. Host was extremely responsive, punctual and helpful. I've already made up my mind to stay at Traum House every time I visit Trinidad.

Very close to airport. Possible to walk to airport, although I don't recommend it due to heavy traffic. Taxis are readily available. Gated, secure location with beautifully maintained pool and lovely south Asian details. Sita was a gracious host.

I was pleasantly surprised. Being that it was my first time staying at an Air B&B, everything was to my liking. It was clean, cozy and quiet . A place for relaxation 🙂. Wend is a very nice person, warm and inviting. Definitely a rare find. Will be back for sure.

I really enjoyed my stay with Patrice and Deborah. They welcomed me like family. I would definitely recommend their place in Tunapuna.

Ms Deborah and Patrice were amazing! My friend and I were scrambling to find a last minute accommodation after our other one cancelled. Everyone in the bnb was sweet with great energy. Would definitely come back and do carnival again with them!
