Our stay at this cabin was unforgettable. The cabin was spotless, organized, accommodating, and extremely cozy. It’s exactly what we were looking for in our search for a remote weekend away in the country side. The cabin had comfy beds, plenty of towels, cooking utensils, easy check-in and out instructions, and felt very safe. Plus, it’s a perfect distance from the area’s best hiking trails and outdoor landmarks for visitors from out of town. We recommend this listing for anyone interested in an ideal cabin experience. James was the best host I've had while using Airbnb. He brought food, was very kind, and easy to communicate with. The rental was a great price and was very nice to stay in. Our dogs loved the yard.

What a unique and beautiful residence. My husband is from that area, and we came up from Florida to visit with his family. One of his uncles and his wife stayed with us and we branched out from there to visit others daily. The home is so beautiful and comfy with many areas to sit a spell and visit. Loved everything about it! We would absolutely book here again!

Second time visiting Kaycee’s place for a Veterans Day weekend getaway. Had a blast riding the trails and sitting by the pond. Looking forward to returning next year.

A change in plans led us to go out of town for Thanksgiving this year. We were looking for a homey place to celebrate and relax, and loved the proximity of this airbnb to Red River Gorge. It was private and beautiful, and was even nicer than the photos made it look. There was plenty of room, a stocked kitchen (pots and pans and basic spices: salt and pepper etc) that made cooking a simple Thanksgiving dinner easy. We loved the open kitchen/living room space so that we could spend time with family while watching football and cooking. I even took a kayak out on Thanksgiving morning! It was a little chilly while we were there, but imagine the deck and pond would be incredible with warmer temperatures. There were tons of towels, blankets, shower items and a hairdryer. The appliances all worked great. We did a lot of hiking while in the area and Wyatt & Savannah's place was an amazing retreat.

If you're looking to enjoy nature and disconnect, this is the place! So close to the Breaks interstate Park (5 minutes?), which is filled with great hiking. And the cabin is perfect for family fun - ping pong tournaments and Ms. PacMan! - plus a hot tub for post hike relaxing. This part of VA is very remote so there are not a ton of restaurants nearby so come prepared! That said, the kitchen is stocked with everything you could need!
