Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Devils Lake

Lovely little bungalow. didn't really have a lot of time to enjoy everything. it was like staying at Grandma and Grandpa's home. very nice rustic appointments and all the creature comforts... can't imagine there was anything else we would have needed but what was supplied. wish we'd had a couple more days to hang out and make a fire and watch some movies but we were in and out pretty quickly. good hosting, Randy & Roxy

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Roberta‘s. To start off with location location location. If you are visiting Hillsdale College or a student at the college, you can’t do better than this unless you can get into the Dow. And here you have a kitchen and living area so you can have people over. It’s just perfect. Roberta responded within a few minutes each time I contacted her with a question. She was very accommodating. We will stay there again next time we are in Hillsdale visiting our granddaughter.

We had a really nice stay at Benjamin's place! The place is easy to find, very quiet, and very cozy. The host provided everything we needed and more. There are extra linens, blankets, comforters, and beddings. The beds are probably the most comfortable bed I've had in all the Airbnb places we stayed - my son and I had two nights of great sleep. The place is spotless clean and cozy, felt right at home. The host is very responsive. I had a slight trouble getting into the house and Benjamin answered my call right away and within seconds I was in the house. One more thing I want to mention, the house is about 6-min walk to a place called "Ricewood" which serves the best pulled pork sandwich. We went back to the place just to have the sandwich again because it's so good. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and stay again next time I visit Ann Arbor.

The house was beautiful and comfortable. The gorgeous views of the water from the yard and inside. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable beds. House had all the little details that made it perfect for a girls weekend getaway. Jennifer was prompt and easy to communicate with

We couldn’t have asked for a better week at this house! The house was perfect, right on the lake and easy to find. It was clean and had everything we needed. The pedal boat was a huge hit with the kids, and the view of the lake from inside the home was so peaceful. We definitely recommend this house when visiting Michigan. It was a short drive to Ann Arbor and Brooklyn was a nice town to explore as well. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed at Joseph's with our two young kiddos for three nights. We are super happy we found the house available and it lived up to its description 100%. The place is super cozy. The kitchen is GREAT. The main bedroom has a better mattress (and far superior pillows) than the JW Marriot we stayed at three weeks ago. Medium firmness and ultra-supportive! 10/10 on the mattress & bedding. THANK YOU!!! For the kids: The downstairs play area was much fun for our 4-1/2 yr-old girl and the air hockey was a blast. The bathroom had a kid's stool and the tub was kid-friendly (and still very comfortable for an adult). The house is very kid-friendly, but note that there is a staircase to the basement which is open to the main level. This was not a problem for us as our 1-3/4 yr-old was finally slightly intimidated by something (or he just didn't feel like making a break for it). For toddlers, you might ask about a gate. We would absolutely stay here again w/wo kids!

Lisa and Phil have an amazing place and go above and beyond as hosts! They had fresh pastries, fruit, and flowers waiting for us. The kitchen is well stocked with pantry essentials and cooking gear. The property is immedicable and exemplifies Phil's wood-working craftsmanship. We took full advantage of the hot tub and also a tour of Phil's downstairs wood shop. While initially concerned about the train, we found it an exciting perk and our sleep was never disturbed even without ear plugs. We were lucky enough to be able to stay for 2 weeks and will definitely be recommending the "lodge" to friends and family!

I had a lovely stay at this cozy apartment in Ann Arbor. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing visit. It’s part of a beautiful house in a charming neighborhood—quiet and welcoming, yet still close to downtown and the university. The host was friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. If you’re looking for a peaceful and well-located place to stay in Ann Arbor, this is a great choice. I’d stay here again!

Great space really close to the stadium and downtown. Very comfortable beds, clean space, nice bathroom. Annie communicated very well and was a friendly, flexible host.

Bronwen was very kind and responsive, and the space and neighborhood were very peaceful! A short drive or bike ride to downtown and near a fantastic trail and scenery.

This place was everything we needed!!! The location was perfect because it was so close to the Waterloo Hunt Club for our horse show. The inside is recently updated and has everything it listed, even a keurig! This home is on the water and give you assess to the dock for fishing, has a fire pit, beautiful patio and a great grill-eating area including a large picnic table. The 1.5 bathrooms was nice when we were all getting ready in the morning. It’s a quiet area so easy ins and outs. Just overall excellent and so comfortable! Will come back for sure when we have our next horse show!

Our stay was wonderful! I stayed at the cabin for the weekend with friends. We were competing in a horse show in the area and were gone most of the day but I wish we had more time to spend at the campground. The area was beautiful and peaceful by a lake. I would have loved to just spend the entire weekend there and hope to go back with family in the future. There was a lot to do with great amenities. You could go out on the lake with paddle boats or go hiking. The cabin that we stayed in was a good size for four people. We had a great time and would recommend.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was huge, offering plenty of space to spread out and lots of fun activities for everyone. It was cozy and perfect for a winter getaway—we loved spending time playing games and relaxing together. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d definitely stay here again!

Kaylee was a great host. When the first cabin I went to book was already booked, she quickly recommended this one to us which was very helpful because this cabin hadn't shown up on my initial search in the app.

Our second year staying here for a family retreat. It is difficult to find an Airbnb that sleeps 8, but also has room for 8 at the kitchen table and on the sofa, and we are appreciative that this property does. Well stocked and comfortable.

I must say I didn’t get to stay the full time I intended due to a small mishap on my end and when I say Brady was so nice and helpful and fully understanding even refunded me because I couldn’t stay (once again for something on my end) this really restored my hope in humanity! Very professional, kind and easy to communicate with. Would literally respond in seconds when I messaged! I’m Definitely going to book in the summer sometime.
