House vacation rentals in Den Hoorn

A really nice, well-kept and spacious house with a large property which is completely surrounded by a hedge and fence in it, so you are undisturbed and the dog can run freely. In addition, there is a large, lockable shed on the property in which bicycles can be stored, among other things. We felt very comfortable and were able to recover super!

We had a wonderful time at the chalet! The accommodation is very nice, lovingly decorated and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The surroundings invite you to relax – perfect for escaping the ordinary. The contact with the hosts was super friendly and straightforward. We felt completely comfortable and can highly recommend the chalet!

Barry is a very friendly, easily accessible host who cares. Communication was top notch. The house is as described in the photos and text. Perhaps it should be mentioned that the stairs to the bedrooms upstairs are very steep and narrow. For us and our (big) children, this was not a problem, but with young children this could be an issue. We were very pleased with the mosquito nets and the blinds to darken in the bedrooms. The beds are comfortable. It's very quiet on the lake, even when many cottages are inhabited - a relaxed, beautiful atmosphere. The use of the TV was only a mystery to us, but after a demand from Barry everything worked well. The SUPs and boats are a highlight - our kids loved it. Water lilies and the daily visit of ducks and chickens are included. Shopping is nearby, and Barry gives good tips for things to do and getaways. Great vacation overall.

It was nice and everything is always nicer when the sun is shining but in all cases: - very nice, cozy cottage - terrace directly overlooking the pond (exciting conversations with local ducks) - very easy check-in and responsive host - superb sunset to end the day while eating on the terrace.

A nice place to stay in a holiday park. To the reception 2 min walk, supermarket, swimming pool, mini golf etc also nearby. The house has a second fridge in the storage room. Unfortunately, the house is not very well insulated, but the heating works great. The fireplace makes the living room cozy. The kitchen is also well equipped. The beddings and towels must be picked up and paid at the reception. However, it and Sylvia refunded the amount immediately.

Had a lovely weekend at Harold's place. A beautiful cottage on the water with swimming pool, small boat and BBQ where you can enjoy the long summer evenings. Value for money, friendly and quick communication with the owner of the cottage. In short, recommended!

We chose the place because it's close to the sea and the city. Both places are easily accessible even for us who were only equipped with e-bikes. The supermarket and restaurants can also be reached on foot. The accommodation is very nice. Large house and nice outdoor space to relax. The kitchen is super stocked with everything you need. Cats are a nice add-on: they're companionship and don't bother at all.

We had a very nice weekend in the apartment! The apartment is well equipped and the location is perfect for excursions, we will definitely come back :)

Enkhuizen is a beautiful city. And Bart’s place is very central. Everything in the city is a 15 minute walk! Bright home with lots of options for enjoying a meal inside or on the patio. Would highly recommend as a place to stay!

We enjoyed it very much at Ron and Marloes. The apartment was clean and the location was just perfect. Short distances to the supermarket (2 minutes), the ice cream parlor (3 minutes) and the beach (about 6 minutes). Playgrounds are also a few minutes away. The kitchen was well equipped. The contact with the family was smooth and they were always approachable. Communication in advance was exemplary and inquiries were responded to quickly. We will be happy to come back.

My family and I felt right at home. It was absolutely as described. Very idyllic, quiet and as soon as the sun came out a dream to spend time outside. Anita was super sweet and even brought some cake. It was really great and this beautiful property just a dream.

We had a wonderful extended weekend in the beautiful, cozy and super equipped house of Jacqueline and Nico. Although the weather was bad and we did not use the bikes or the rowing boat provided, we felt comfortable. The surroundings are great and there is plenty to discover. You can quickly reach the sea and the shopping is close and versatile. The house is clairaudient between above and below. But it's ideal for family weekends or with good friends. There are 2 great bathrooms and another extra toilet.

Spacious, clean and well-equipped house. It's in a quiet and very picturesque village (little Gieethorn). Micaela was very kind and welcoming during check-in. We spent 6 days in serenity and comfort and visited various sites in the Netherlands by car (Amsterdam, Keukenhof, Leiden, Haarlem, Volendam and Marken, Zaanse Schan, Gieethorn) knowing that we would return in the evening to a perfect house to rest. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay in Castricum - Frank is a lovely and attentive host and was on hand to answer any questions and give recommendations for food and drink nearby. Castricum is a great hub to get to lots of places nearby (Haarlem, Alkmaar, Amsterdam) and the beach is fairly close too!

We had a great and relaxing short break with 2 families. Beautiful excursions are usually only 20 - 30 minutes away. The house is large enough for 3 families if the children sleep in the bed. There were many games and a large garden. The beds were between 160-180 in size. Els and her husband were very friendly and had everything there. The kids didn't want to leave.

We felt very comfortable and a bit like at home. The house is very spacious and lovingly furnished. It had everything, the kitchen was sensational, since we also cooked. The place has everything you need. The location of the house with the proximity to the sea and to Amsterdam is great. The family's cat greeted us and we took her into our hearts. However, if someone is not good with cats or is allergic, Selfa should address this beforehand. We would come back back.

We had a great stay in Schoorl. What a wonderfully spacious, cozy house. The fact that the owners themselves seem to be staying in the house regularly and the kitchen is well stocked ensures that it feels like you are visiting friends. Absolutely a top spot!

We had a fantastic family weekend with 8 adults and 5 little ones! Very spacious house with all the comforts. Nice layout in terms of bedrooms and a fantastic large kitchen. We enjoyed a wonderful weekend by the sea.

We spent a week with our 3.5 year old daughter in the nice little guest house. There was everything necessary, plenty of towels and linens. Lydia responded quickly to inquiries in advance. You are quickly at the beach and in the village. We would definitely visit again!

We immediately felt comfortable and enjoyed the place very much. The kitchen is great and modern. The bedrooms were never too cold despite the windows being open. The beds were not too hard or too soft. The bathroom is a little small but you get used to it. Ella was always very friendly and responsive when we had trouble with the Wi-Fi. The handyman is coming soon to get it back to a reasonable speed. A free and unoccupied parking space was always available, which is not always the case in the Netherlands. We can fully recommend Ella's place.
