Cabin vacation rentals in DeKalb County

Snuggle Inn was perfect. Snuggled in mountains you will find a beautiful cabin. Comfy bed, well stocked kitchen, especially loved the hot tub. Our two Scotties loved walking in the woods. Visited nearby Mentone and Fort Payne for lunch. Burgers & Brews in Fort Payne especially good. We loved so much, we stayed extra night.

Clean and cozy cabin located right outside the park area - beautiful location! Would certainly stay again.

The cabin was set on the Brow over Mentone - an awesome location. There’s neighbors but it’s a quiet location and we felt it was private. We enjoyed the hot tub and had breakfast on the porch looking over Mentone and surrounding area - watched the trains come through in the distance. We needed the quiet and restful atmosphere - not disappointed. Artsy shops and good eating nearby. We drove to Lafayette and made a loop through Chickamauga (great for any Civil War buffs ) then back to Mentone on a day trip out. The scenery along the way was beautiful. We found a great nursery in Lafayette where we bought plants to take home.

The place was extremely nice! We enjoyed every part of it! Definitely will have to be back!

The cabin was exactly what we needed for our long weekend getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked for us to cook our meals, the beds were comfortable, the space was clean, the views were spectacular! I would certainly recommend this for anybody looking to get away from the noise for a little while.

Can't say enough about how awesome our visit was. From the minute we walked in and my wife remarking how clean the place looked AND smelled, to the outstanding view, and even covered parking for my 3/4 ton pickup!!

The house was perfect for our stay. The location was nice and peaceful and the house was exactly as described! We loved the setup with the master downstairs and the main living upstairs! And we met the sweetest little kitty that lived in the area, He spent the weekend hanging out on the porch! They stay was perfect, house was great, would def stay here again if we are in the area!

Our stay here was amazing! It had everything we could possibly need. We loved the gas fireplace, the hot tub, and the sunrises were spectacular. There are so many wonderful places to see in the surrounding area.

Most beautiful Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Very clean with all the amenities and a private setting. could sit out on the deck for hours, day or night. we will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our two night stay very much. We're a family of 7 adults and one 9 year old. There was plenty of space for everyone. Our only complaints were that the fireplace had a lot of ash left and the andiron was broken, making it a little difficult to get the fire started. Naturally it was colder in the lower level rooms since the thermostat was for the main level and lower level but it was not a problem. The small portable heater for the bathroom downstairs should be replaced as it did not heat. The main level living room had four chairs that look like they have had lots of wear. A sofa in that room would be very nice. We were asked to put the trash in the outside trash cans but they were full when we arrived. One of us drove a pickup truck so we were able to take our trash but it could have been a problem otherwise. We felt like we had plenty of space for our group of eight and would recommend a stay at this cabin.

First, David is fantastic to work with! Very responsive and helpful! Honey Hole was the perfect place for our fishing trip and we had a fantastic time. I will say that the pictures do not do this place justice. Very updated, immaculately clean, and an excellent location near one of our favorite boat ramps. I would not hesitate to stay here again or any other of D&E Landing's properties!

The home is very convenient to all things Mentone. So nice that there are two suites! We grilled one night and most nights enjoyed a relaxing fire in the screened porch fireplace. Kitchen is very workable for cooking full meals and wifi, TV and setting are great. Our dogs were able to run off lead as the home is about 1000' off the main road on a small lane. Loved the cabin feel and that there were bathtubs! You must see Little River Falls - take water shoes & play in the mountain water!

Beautiful home and even prettier and more spacious than the pictures. Very clean and well stocked down to batteries, fishing supplies and even a basket of snacks and smores suppiles to welcome guests. This is a 5 star house and 5 star amenities. We were in cedar bluff for a family wedding at magnolia overlook. The cabin was a 2 minute drive up the street from the facility, but still offered us the feeling of our own private getaway in between the festivities of the weekend. Gorgeous views of Lake Weiss with a dock at the base of the driveway. Just a relaxing, peaceful, and easy stay. Highly recommend.

My husband and I loved staying at the Glory Days cabin with our pups!! It was very affordable and even still had lots more room, if you were to have a few more guests come. We enjoyed being secluded and relaxing at this lovely cabin!! We hope to visit again in the spring/summer!!

We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday to celebrate. The cabin is spacious and comfortable. The beds are clean ans comfortable, as well. Tammy was very helpful and responsive. Thank you for your hospitality.

This was my wife and I’s honeymoon spot and Carrie’s cabin was perfect and so peaceful and private! It was fun just taking in the view and watching the birds and other wildlife. The kitchen was spotless and well stocked. We’ll definitely be planning on coming back for our anniversary!

Lovely cabin, great for a peaceful getaway. Aaron was very helpful with all questions and queries and a great host.

Kasey was amazing! We had an unexpected last minute change of plans and Kasey was immediately available and very helpful. The place was just as described, very clean, ample parking, and had lots of extras! The temperature was in the 50s so we didn’t anticipate the use of the on-site canoe, but to our surprise, our children were in it for hours! They even had a large selection of life vests that accommodated all of our children ranging in age from 8 to 18. No complaints at all from our stay.

We stayed in one of the 2 bed 1.5 bath cabins. It was clean, well stocked, and had a beautiful view of the lake. I loved drinking coffee on the porch. The owners were very friendly and accommodating as they live in one of the houses on the lake. Everything was immaculate. We all enjoyed the paddle boats and the kayaks. The geese were a bit territorial due to nesting, but other than avoiding them, walking around the lake was great. The cabin was a little tight for 5 adults but it is great for a family. I wouldn’t have chosen any other location.

Rachel's place was great we had a party of 7 and had plenty of room Very rustic. The kitchen was not as big as it looked in the pictures but she had everything you needed to do any cooking also made sure we had a crockpot. Great view of the lake. She was very responsive when I had a question. It could use a little TLC especially on the decks. If you like old rustic charm this is for you. The decks are huge and a fire pit but we didn't get to enjoy them as much as we wanted to because it rained almost everyday we were there. When in the area you need to try Southern Harvest Restaurant in the Lookout Mountain area near Fort Payne

Just right for us. Clean quiet and convenient to fishing. Lots of kitchen gadgets for making a bite to eat.

Fantastic host and hostess! We were staying during our sons wedding and the cabin was perfect. It was so peaceful after a long day of decorating and preparing for the wedding. Ihe cabin was so very clean and well maintained. The host gave us a great reccomdation for a cafe nearby that was great. We will be back to stay here soon. Thankyou for making our stay awesome!

We had an amazing get away here. It was exactly what we were looking for and so much more than described. Loved how clean everything was but still with a cabin feel. Kristen was very attentive with our special circumstances. The trails and little river was amazing for kiddo, and the best part was the privacy of the place. Make sure to visit Maters pizza in the town over, worth the drive after a day of visiting the falls. Can’t wait to come back in the summer.
