We enjoyed staying at Robert's fabulously decorated home. It is a unique home in a beautiful setting; it's not often we get to stay in a home with exotic birds, friendly ducks, and a dinosaur room. And Robert is an excellent host. It's a great location for seeing the area - many attractions within a 1-2 hour drive. We would stay here again if our travels bring us back to Nova Scotia.

We were celebrating a 50th birthday with a spa day nearby. The 4 bedrooms was a dream! The house had all we needed and then some. The host was amazing from beginning to end. Responsive. Proactive. Friendly. We spent 2 stormy nights and we're cozy the whole time. Thanks for the great weekend.

I do not have a lot of experience with Airbnb so I did know what to expect. This home and my interactions with the owner Deanna, exceeded my expectations. We needed a large place for our family as we where gathering for a sad event. We all fell in love with the house and Hubbards, any questions where responded with promptly. Deanna was always interested in helping and making our stay a positive one. I could not ask for a more gracious host and would love to stay here again. You can rent this home with complete confidence. If Airbnb ever needs an ambassador, Deanna could be it.

Went to spend my 60th birthday with dear friends and we had a wonderful time! Great location near of my favorite places but yet still remote! Hope to be back soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mary's place. It had everything we needed, including a nice big kitchen with a lovely view; it felt like I was cooking in a treehouse :-) Mary was very easy to communicate with. We would be happy to stay here again.

Highly recommend this place, it has country touch, very spacious , very nicely decorated, and equipped with everything one can ask for. Everything was perfect! Thanks for being such a good host!

Overall nice stay at Pete’s. His house was full of charm and character, and his artwork kept my parents amused during our stay! Plenty of kitchen and bath supplies for my family of 4, as well as very comfy beds! Only thing missing was a vent for the stove, but easily solved with opening the windows. Would recommend!

Loved our stay at Barry's place. Everything was as advertised and place was cozy and comfortable. It was very quiet while sleeping and both the main bed and pull out bed were comfortable. Great driveway parking and a nice backyard. Selection of kitchen equipment and some food items were a nice surprise. I will visit again!

Gerry is an excellent host. He is caring and full of attentions. His tips are super useful. He cares about your wellbeing. He sure does the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. He has done a lot for me. I definitely recommend.

Ryan’s place was very comfortable for our two-night stay: the home has lots of character, and the apartment is spacious. The couch was comfortable for relaxing and watching Netflix after our travels, and we appreciated the amenities (toiletries, tea and coffee, an ironing board and iron, etc). Ryan was also responsive when we had questions about on-street parking.

This was our second time here. Felt like home. Great, thoughtful hosts. Hydrostone is great. Walk to town is easy with lots to see on the way.

Henry's place was spotless! Exactly like the pictures, the appartment was ultra clean, comfortable, well designed and stocked with more than the necessities. It is a few minutes drive from downtown Halifax and near really nice hiking trails (Pennant Point, Duncan's Cove, Pot Lake loop). My friend and I had a wonderful time and would definitively stay at Henry's again if we were to come back to Halifax!

Everything was as stated in the advertisement. Check-in was seamless, the place was tidy, and matched the pictures perfectly. We had everything we needed for our short stay, like toilet paper, soap, shampoo/conditioner, coffee/tea, extra blankets and pillow for the pull out couch. We drove so it was great that parking was also available. Val’s place is in a great neighbourhood. I didn’t have to reach out to Val about anything during our stay, however communication was great leading up to our arrival and on the way out. Thanks again for having us Val!

Elissa was a great host and made me feel welcome immediately. The place is beautifully done and a nice peaceful ambiance to spend a night. Wrinkles also gives Elissa a five star rating. He was welcomed with bowls for food and water and offered a coZy bed to sleep in!

This garden level apartment is blocks from the waterfront and only a 15 min walk to the convention center. A perfect spot to call home for a few days! It will stay cool in the summer - a little dark down in the lower level but I was hardly there during the day, so didn't mind it. The bathtub is so nice - I enjoyed a bath one night. I'd stay here again!

The apartment suited me perfectly with a thoughtfully appointed kitchen, quiet space and very clean. A great place for a week of remote work in Halifax! Will look to stay here again if the opportunity presents itself!

Sally was excellent with her communications and instructions. Her place is well appointed and was very adaptive to our needs, both with easy access to the north end and within when we wanted to cook for ourselves. Thanks Sally for sharing your place!

Well appointed, central location and great proximity to the waterfront. Comfortable, spacious and clean. Great choice if you’re looking for walkability and convenience within the downtown core.

We enjoyed our time staying at Keer’s and Doris’s place. It is an excellent location and while the traffic on Williams Street can be noisy, we three slept very well in comfortable beds with good linens. The interior has tons of character, space and high ceilings. Although we did not use the patio due to poor weather, it appeared to be comfortable and private. And the off-street parking spot was a bonus. Keer and Doris were very proactive and quick to offer local restaurants recommendations.
