A really beautiful place to stay. Loved the comfy bed and all the small details. It was great just spending time in the grounds, watching all the different birds.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at The Cox Cottage. Annette was very welcoming and gave us a tour of the cottage, providing helpful information and its history, including local restaurants on arrival. We found it very quiet and enjoyed walking to the lake or having a drink on the verandah in the afternoons. I particularly enjoyed watching the little wrens in the garden each morning. During our stay we found the cottage to be very comfortable with plenty of room for our family of four and two friends. There were plenty of towels, linen etc on hand. They also very kindly provided breakfast essentials for our first night. As we had driven from Queensland, this was very much appreciated. We would definitely recommend their wonderful cottage to our friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Antonina was a lovely host, who responded straight away to any questions we had. The home was just as described very beautiful with lovely surroundings. We felt so relaxed in this beautiful private surroundings. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be coming back in Easter.

Fran and Ken were beautiful hosts and their cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway. Beautiful surroundings and easy to into Berrima, Bowral and Mittagong. Our stay at Sascha’s Retreat was fantastic! An absolutely amazing property with so much to do that you don’t ever need to leave. It is in a beautiful and private location with views as far as the eye can see, and has everything you need for an action-packed weekend or a peaceful getaway. Stephen was a brilliant host, extremely responsive to any queries, super friendly and helpful. We will most definitely be returning and highly recommend Sascha’s Retreat.

The property is great, good detox from technology where you breath in the fresh air and soak in the atmosphere. The goats are friendly and the alpacas are funny, the cows are curious and the chicken and turkey keep gobbling away. Just a fantastic place to catch a break from the hustle of the big smoke.

Special mountains home with everything we needed and more. Excellent kitchen for home cooking and Tim was really thoughtful and helpful with all communications. A really pleasant space for a proper mountains getaway.

It was perfect for a group trip. When I was booking it, I didn’t realise it’s actually 2 houses that sleep 8 guests each. No biggie and it was just a little walk between them, but if you have a group of kids it’d be good to know. The houses were super clean and comfortable. The only thing I would say is it’s a shame there was no coffee pods for the coffee machine, as the nearest coffee shop was a bit of a drive away.

A perfect location for a little peaceful getaway with our dogs. They loved being able to relax and bask in the sun whilst watching all the sheep’s and goats around us. It was our first tiny home experience and were pleasantly surprised at how spacious and well organised the entire place was. The bath tub is such a lovely touch for a moment of relaxation in nature. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, serene stay. We’d love to come back and stay again and be able to fire up the firepit maybe next time in the cooler months :)

Absolutely loved our stay. My hubby and I went away for our anniversary and it was the perfect little spot to escape and unwind Literally picture perfect! The house had everything we needed with perfect little touches like board games and snacks, even marshmallows for the fire. The outdoor bath was simply perfect and completely private and we even had a visit from Amanda's dog who was such a big sweetie Highly recommend staying here we will definitely be back

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and charming property! Check in was simple and we were greeted with two bottles from the hosts winery. The home was clean, tidy, homely and inviting for our large family and our kids found plenty of things to do both inside and outside the house. There were board games and toys, and they loved the outdoor play area. The bedrooms were well presented and comfortable to sleep in. The host was friendly and helped us with all of our enquires. Internet is as-expected in the area at ~12mbps, but you don’t take a country escape to spend your time online! We had a five star visit which I highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Hunter.

We are very pleased with our getaway as it was exactly what we were looking for. The location of the property is stunning, the size of the property is suitable for both small and large families and the land around the property was the perfect size for our nervous dog to run freely around and to be happy. We were fortunate to have a great weather and the view of the lake in the morning was astonishing. Everything what was needed was available in the house . Edwina and Damien were very helpful and accommodating. Damien recommended many different places to eat and super friendly. Location is within 10 mins of vineyards and restaurants.

Lovely and peaceful place to stay and get away from the city. The house accommodates 6 people and the 3 bathrooms make everything easy! The horses were very friendly if you have some carrots for them. And If you wake up early you can even see the kangaroos. I would definitely go back.
