Cosy place to stay, had character. Very friendly, helpful staff. Convenient location, close to city activities without the busyness of the city. The complementary wine was a nice touch for our anniversary and greatly appreciated.

Very comfortable stay. Well located. Lovely restored historic property. Very interesting property. Beautiful grounds. We had our kelpie dog with us who enjoyed the grounds.

Great stay, staff were very accommodating and helpful and hotel is in a great location to great restaurants and cafes as well as many city attractions.

Definitely a beautiful historic inn that oozes character and encourages you to sit back and enjoy. John’s efforts to preserve and share the history of both the inn and the town are to be commended. So nice that it permits the furry family members to stay is also a bonus. It’s well worth it and we will definitely be back.

Lovely apt. Lots of towels and linen, clean and tidy. Our previous AirBnb had cancelled 16hrs prior and these guys were so responsive and happy to help. Would definitely recommend

A beautiful house with so many pockets indoors and outdoors to hang out or take photos at. It was a very cosy stay in a spacious room with its old charm. The receptionist and host John were both really welcoming and friendly. I did not mind the occasional train passing by and was able to sleep fine.

Great place and central to everything. 24 hour very helpful reception which was good because we arrived after midnight. It was to celebrate a special birthday and there was a bottle of bubbly in the fridge which was a nice touch

Friendly staff who responded to our needs (we had been out walking in the rain and they gave us towels in the foyer to dry ourselves)

Eddy was super friendly and responsive, the house was pretty quiet. Only briefly saw other guests. We loved the attic room and found the raised beds really fun! Overall great host :)

We had a great stay at The Mansion! The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. We loved using the spacious kitchen and had a great time playing pool. Eddy was incredibly responsive and let us drop off our bags before check-in, which was a huge help.
