Fully furnished , totally remodeled ( completed in Feb. 2016), lakefront home set on a peninsula at a cove where a trout stream enters the lake. Incredible amount of wildlife, especially all types of birds. The home has sunny views everywhere.
“Perfect getaway place with beautiful surroundings. Quarantine? No problem, you can enjoy everything in David’s lake house from fire pit, hot tub, and luxurious interiors. Just a few minutes distance from local stores, Target, Walmart so can’t complain.”

“I can’t say enough about Sulome’s place. Unfortunately, a funeral brought my family to town and we had to find something last minute. I am so happy we found Brooksong. Throughout the weekend my family members kept saying how thankful they were to have such a comfortable and warm place to stay during a difficult time. The place is huge and can comfortably fit a large group of people. There were six of us (2 couples & 2 singles) and we all had our own rooms. Everyone remarked on how comfortable the rooms and beds were. The home is absolutely beautiful - believe it or not the pictures don’t do it justice. If you’re a fan of history you’ll appreciate this place as the home is a renovated school house. There are so many thoughtful touches. It was so nice to be together - sitting on the large couches, cooking dinner in the beautiful open kitchen, sipping a cocktail at the bar and playing a little pool to unwind. I can’t recommend this place enough. For us it was worth every penny. We will be back this summer for a celebration of life and hope Brooksong will be available again. Thank you Sulome.”
Cozy, private house from 1850, located on a quiet street across from a pond, and with access to the Ashuwillticook rail trail. Relax on the private back porch, or in the large bath tub. Sleep in late in the king sized bed, and then enjoy what the Berkshires has to offer!
“The house is small and cozy. Perfect for a couples get away. Which is exactly what we were looking for. The location is perfect, close to town but no noise can be heard at the house. Everything was clean when we arrived. And the tub! The tub is huge and perfect for a relaxing soak! There are plenty of windows to let the sun light in. The kitchen has everything needed to make meals during your stay. All in all it was a great place to stay. The host answered all our responses quickly, and she was very polite! Would stay again for sure.”
