The Voorhuis of our national monument farm has been renovated into a fully luxurious suite with its own facilities. The original details, such as the high ceilings, the bedstee walls and even an original bedstee where you can sleep, have been preserved. No less than 65 m2 with a private kitchen, spacious living room and separate bedroom with free-standing bathtub. Toilet and spacious walk-in shower. With the option, at an additional cost, to use the hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower, you will be wonderfully.

Cottage Wipperoen has been in our family for 50 years. It is not in a holiday park and has its own entrance to the Tilweg. In 2018 it was completely renovated and equipped with a new kitchen, lovely beds and underfloor heating. The best part is that it is in the middle of the trees. All freedom on our own grounds of 1100m2! From the cottage you can walk into the woods in 5 minutes. Gees is centrally located in Drenthe: Emmen, the beautiful Orvelte and the shops of Hoogeveen are 20 minutes by car.

In one of the quietest places in the Netherlands, you will find our completely refurbished bakery. From the yard, walk into the endless German forests or explore the area by bicycle. Beautiful places such as Ootmarsum, Hardenberg and Gramsbergen are close by, but there is also plenty to see across the border. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the private terrace has a comfortable seating area, barbecue, sun loungers and parasol. A luxury breakfast is available on request for €15 per person.

3 km away from Hardenberg in the beautiful hamlet "Engeland" is for rent on private property: Het Bakhuus, for B&B and short vacations. Hardenberg is located in the natural Vechtdal of Overijssel and has a lot to offer. Our apartment with original old elements, is located in Gees in an ancient sheepfold that belongs to our farm from 1748. It is a two-person apartment with living area and kitchen, a spacious bedroom and a bathroom. Through the garden doors, you have access to the private terrace. Directly from the apartment, there are plenty of hiking and cycling possibilities in the beautiful nature around Gees. A walk through the centuries-old village with its Saxon farms is also recommended.

In our garden, next to our family, you will not encounter anyone else one day. Lots of sound from the birds and in the evening a beautiful starry sky in clear weather. Our farm was built completely new in 2015, we live in the back house and the front house is furnished as a vacation home. 5 private parking spaces, a spacious garden with terrace where you can sit comfortably. 1 bedroom on the ground floor with private bathroom, the other 4 bedrooms on the first floor with shared bathroom.

You have a marvellous vue over garden and fields. There is hardly any traffic. Only some farmer business. A perfect place to 'slow down' .
