The Cabin was so cute and cozy. Super easy to find and get into; it was also close to town. The kitchenette was really nice to have so we could make breakfast before going out. We absolutely LOVED the giant heart shaped tub! The place was very clean. The only problem, that didn’t really matter much to us, was the wifi and cable were out of commission. Truly that didn’t affect our trip in the slightest. We had a wonderful trip to Helen with a comfortable stay.

The view was absolutely perfect and the spot was so peaceful for a weekend getaway to celebrate my boyfriend & I’s anniversary. Everything was clean and organized in the house. I felt like I never needed to reach out for any help because Mia gave great clear directions of what needed to be done and what was available at the house. If I ever find myself in blue ridge again this is the spot I would stay every time!

The view is absolutely beautiful!!! My family enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It was clean, airy, natural and the living room view was stunning! The beds were comfortable and we loved the downstairs space with the huge tv. We had a fun movie night hanging out downstairs. Our time there was peaceful and our children didn’t want to leave! Chelsea was responsive, friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

The place was beautiful and clean. The host was very responsive for the small issue that we had. We used the hot tub each nite and it was awesome. Dahlonega has a very cute downtown and we found many good places to eat there. We also did a 3.5 hour kayak ride thru Appalachian Outfitters that was awesome. Very happy with our getaway!

Peaceful, private wooden oasis. We enjoyed seeing all the deer in the area. We felt it was a great location right between all the mountain towns, great for finding hiking locations, parks, museums, and great restaurants. Then spending our nights in a cozy private cabin in the woods, playing games and having family movie nights or siting on the porch enjoying the rain & lighting show.

Freedom Finder is a beautiful cabin in the woods with an amazing porch and in close location to Anna Ruby Falls, Unicoi state park and Helen. It’s spotless, and full of all the little extras you need for a great vacation! Traveling with my family means cooking meals, and this cabin was well stocked with all the necessities.Lynette, is an amazing host. We were welcomed with a s’mores kit, and little touches that made us feel special. She was communicative and above all else Kind! We had a medical emergency our last night and needed to book an extra day, and Lynette was responsible to our emergent need even in the middle of the night! I can’t thank her enough! Literally if you are interested in staying in North Georgia the Freedom Finder is the cabin for you!

Great location! Small cozy guest house. Parking spot was tight for our large 2500 but we made it work. Recommendations were great.

Loved our stay with Anne and Frank! They greeted us when we got there even though it was relatively late. They were very accommodating and friendly as well! The place is pristine and the surrounding area has a lot of drivable things to go to. My crew and I want to come back because we wish we had spent more time in the area!

We stayed at Brad's property for 3 nights. Everything about the property matches the description. The cabin is well-equipped and maintained meticulously. We were impressed with the amount of thought that went into the design, functionality, and quality of the property. The kitchen is well-stocked and neatly organized, the beds were comfortable and clean. The property is very private and peaceful. The property is NOT well-suited for anyone that has any mobility issues since you have to negotiate 3 flights of stairs to access the cabin. Brad is extremely thorough and provides an abundance of communication regarding property instructions and recommendations for the area (don't miss Tumbling Waters Falls at Carter's Lake). Brad has gone to great lengths to insure that his guests are well-informed regarding the house rules (there are many) and directions to the property. Thank you Brad for hosting our family.

This place is phenomenal! Even with bad weather there were a ton of games and enough space to be warm and cozy. We have so much fun inside and out. North Georgia has beautiful places to visit and, if you like stones and crystals, fun places to do simple mining. The house is wonderful, very clean, well equipped, just bring your food. Corey, the host, is great communicator and always responds my messages quick. This was our 2nd time and we are planing the return.

the bird dog Lodge was amazing! not only was it beautiful but it also had everything a family needed to stay for 10 days, including dog cages. The property is gorgeous and you can hear the river running by from the back porch. The kitchen was well outfitted and it was exactly what our family needed to relax and experience the mountains. The driveway is very steep so be prepared, however the owner gave great directions how to get to the cabin on the winding roads.

I enjoyed my short stay at the river cabin. I LOVED falling asleep outside listening to the running water and the frogs! The pool was perfect! There were several different places to sit along the river. I definitely plan on going again.

We had the most refreshing and relaxing stay here. There were 11 of us and we had tons of space. Everything was Inviting and clean. The front porch swing was a favorite and also the fire pit area. Will stay again

After local weather ruined our Spring Break plans, we made a last minute pivot to this cabin and couldn't have been happier with the decision. The location was perfect for a relaxing weekend. The majority of our time was spent next to the river or on the porch soaking in the view. The layout was great for our two families giving everyone plenty of room. The cabin was well furnished and had everything needed to cook several meals. Overall I would absolutely recommend.

This is the fourth time we have rented the cabin. Three times were for five weeks each. We love it there and could not ask for a better host, very responsive to our needs. Each time we return there are new additions to the property, this time a lovely fire pit and stairs leading from upper parking lot to cabin. Very peaceful and quiet with a pond on the property. We look for the deer and turkeys on the road to the cabin.

We found this place to be exactly as advertised. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the cabin on the inside. We didn’t see a single bug in the house our entire stay, which can be hit or miss with cabins in the woods. The kitchen was also well stocked with dishes, utensils, and everything we needed to cook and make coffee. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. I love that they provided free firewood as well. That’s was a great perk. There was also free shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers available in both bathrooms, which makes packing for travel even easier. We will definitely be returning.

what a very quiet, peaceful and charming place to stay!!... has everything as described and the pictures are accurate but don't do it justice because it's so very quaint! thank you Maddie and Ryan for sharing your little treasure with us all!!! we look forward to staying here again if we come this way in the future!!

PRIVACY! Neighbors are within walkin distance but not eye or ear shot. which made for an extremely private but safe feel. Quiet, nature sounds and amazing views. covered deck amazing for sunrises and sunsets. it gets really dark at night though! so if you are going out at night turn a light or 2 on. This was the cleanest AIRBNB i have ever stayed in, which considering the amount of decor is astonishing. I walked around in a pair of white socks the entire time and they never got dirty! my guy is pretty particular about bathrooms away from home and this is the first time he had no complaints. perfect stay!

We had an amazing stay. The cabin was perfect for us for our daughter’s graduation week. The property was so peaceful and it was lovely to sit out in the porch with coffee and watch the deer in the morning. Everything was exactly as described and we appreciate how responsive Crystal was. I highly recommend this property!

This is our second time staying at Lisa’s place. This cabin is the best cabin we have stayed at. The place is beautiful, the view is beautiful , Lisa is absolutely, without question the best host we have encountered. Everything you need is provided. We would not hesitate staying here again. The area is great , lots of things to do and Lisa provides excellent folders of information and books to help you. Thanks Lisa for being such a great host!!!

My son and I were so happy here, and didn't want to leave! The cabin and area were even more beautiful in person; the photos and clear description were great, but seeing everything in person was even better. This felt like home for our three nights, as we were very comfortable. My son was happy with the bed, and I found the couch to be quite nice to sleep on. Everything was clean and ready for us to settle in, and we did our very best to leave it the same way. There was a storm during our stay and our awesome hosts made sure to take care of us when the power got knocked out and checked on us after, as well. They're wonderful people and we greatly appreciate them sharing this tranquil space with us. You won't be disappointed when you choose to stay at Resting Deer!
