Drumaville Lodge

StephenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Just back from a 3 night bank holiday break in Irene's home and myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed it. Beautiful, large home, that was dog friendly and this exceeded our expectations. Lovely secluded area, although there's a few homes quite close, the surrounding of trees make you feel in your own world. The shebeen out back was great and we enjoyed throwing darts each evening. It's closed off for pets, we've a large dog and he was able to run about outside with no worry of him escaping. The weather was kind to us, so we were blessed being so close to Culdaff beach and Malin pier for a swim. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

3 Bedroom Bungalow. Beachside

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Adele’s place-her home is cozy, impeccably clean, and perfectly located near Doagh Famine Village. From the moment we arrived, Adele was warm, communicative, and attentive to every detail. When a nearby fire briefly knocked out the electricity and water, she sprang into action, providing us with extra bottled water, batteries, and portable lights to keep us comfortable until service was fully restored. Her quick thinking and genuine care turned what could have been an inconvenience into a testament of her dedication as a host. We felt safe, supported, and truly looked after throughout our stay. Adele’s exceptional responsiveness and thoughtful touches made our getaway with friends unforgettable. We can’t recommend her place highly enough and look forward to returning soon!

Cherry Tree Cottage - Cosy Cottage 19th Century

TeriRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed for two nights in this beautiful cottage. Cosy, warm and pet friendly. The cottage comes equipped with absolutely everything you might need and then some. I would definitely consider coming back for a longer time on a writing retreat. Our only regret is that we didn't read the guest information folder that the hosts prepared from cover to cover on day one. It contains a wealth of information about the cottage, things to do in the surrounding area, and that fantastic bread recipe! Thanks again Siobhan for such a memorable stay.

A decorative chicken figure, painted in shades of yellow and red, stands against a blue wall. The figure rests on a base labeled 'Light Sussex Hen,' complementing the surrounding patterned tiled floor.

Beautifully restored cottage with charming furnishings and a nice garden that we enjoyed with our dog. Amazing view over the valley that featured a perfect rainbow during our stay. Peter was communicative throughout the stay and left plenty of wood for the stove.

The Old Mill Barn

Enjoyable stay. The barn was very nice and the area is great. The only downside was there was no area to leave the dog enclosed outside, but no big deal. Would stay again.

Everything you need in a neat, tidy and very well furnished wee home away from home. It met our needs perfectly and was very comfortable throughout. Would definitely return if we were back in the area.
