I'm sure Gill would be the first to say that both she and her place offer a quirky stay deep in the Cornish countryside: stained glass windows, wooden carvings, kitchen table hanging by chains from the ceiling, friendly animals in the yard. Don't let that put you off, her place is warm and comfortable and there was milk in the fridge and scones and jam to welcome us. Me and my frinends Ian and Pete had a great time and all agreed Gill's place was one of our favourite stays since we started walking the coastpath.

Excellent host, responsive and welcoming and provided a welcome pack with all we needed tea, coffee and even milk. Perfectly located for Minack theatre even providing rugs and a thermos for use of guests. Perfectly located for lands end airport and the local attractions. Ticked all the boxes for us.

perfect place. Perfect host. Perfect location. Ridiculously good. It is a delightful place to wake up. And to fall asleep. In fact, it’s a lovely place to sleep too! Running water, beautiful gardens, great kitchen and loads of privacy. Just ask. Anything. Ros will help. I need a table and not only did I get one. I got the offer to have the legs made shorter or the surface made smaller just so it would suit me and the work I was trying to do. Can’t say good things about this stay. From kitchen, to cooking, to directions, to patience with booking when a credit card wouldn’t work. Thanks Ros. What you do is actually called hosting and you do it so well. NB Just to say a great big thanks for finding a table, checking up on me, noticing I needed fridge space (I’m diabetic) and even offering to cut my bread in half (I am disabled and find that so hard). Thank you too for a perfect home, perfectly cared for home and being so perfectly caring about people who come to your home. Really.

Comfortable place set in a beautiful village, close to the local pub serving good pub grub. Lands End only 15mins away, but only worth a 30min visit. If you are up for a 10mile walk, you can walk from the house via Treverven gorge, to Penberthy cove, Logan rock, pedn vounder beach, porthcurno beach and back via the Logan rock inn (in Treen). Argoe fish restaurant is definitely worth booking. This is a lovely untouched part of Cornwall.
