Cabin vacation rentals in Crooked Lake

This was our fourth stay. We fell in love with the place and visit every year. Its perfect. Its very comfortable. Super cozy. The view of the lake out the bay window is perfect. Cheboygan has a great options for food and fun. Mackinaw is just 30 min away. You could not find better hosts. I cant reccomend this place enough.

Ideal location serving as a cozy Basecamp for exploring several surrounding winter scenes. Our day consisted of a short drive to Kortmans for breakfast, Family Fare for snacks, Ocqueoc Falls for a snowy hike, and The 211 in Onaway for a filling meal. One of our favorite moments was fully embracing the hygge vibes (fireplace, flameless candles, blankets) and looking out the giant A-frame windows to see a bald eagle catching a fish in the lake then landing in a ice floe to feast. We would recommend this place to anyone seeking to slow down and enjoy a retreat surrounded by nature. This place was the perfect balance of rustic and comfort.

The Hawk’s Nest was the best stay! First off, the cabin was incredible! Thoughtfulness and attention to detail throughout the cabin. We stayed for just a quick weekend but wished we could have stayed longer and definitely plan to go back! Hosts provided a detailed list of all sorts of local recommendations. They also checked in and it was super clear that their goal was for us to be completely satisfied with our stay! We loved it!

We loved our stay at the 3 little cottages! It has everything we needed and more. The lakeside area was perfect for our kids. We enjoyed the use of kayaks as well. The cottages were clean and comfortable and had all basic amenities covered. We enjoyed all the extra toys provided in the shed. Lori was so helpful and friendly. We were so sad to leave and can not wait to come back next year!

We loved our stay at the Bentley Cottages! The cabins are exactly as pictures, rustic but functional. The views are spectacular as well as the setting. Charming old camp, like what cottages used to be when our parents went up to Lake Leelanau. Our family lives down the road as well as friends, so a perfect spot for our family. Can’t wait to head back up next August! Thanks James for sharing it with us.

Cozy Cabin was exactly that, including its great location. It fit our winter needs for our mini vacation perfectly with all that snow!! Lauri was pleasant to talk with as well!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb in St. Ignace! The location was perfect—so peaceful and scenic, yet close to everything we wanted to explore. The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Every amenity we could possibly need was provided, making it feel like a true home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Peace Retreat. The location could not have been better, with Lake Michigan just a walk away, and the beautiful trails for easy walking behind the property. We loved the yard set up, with a campfire ready for us to enjoy, the hammocks, and little paths to enjoy the property. We loved all the extra blankets and quirky furnishings inside the home, and it was perfect for us to enjoy a mother daughter weekend.

We loved staying at Navid and Julie’s place! It was a beautiful condo and setting! Very clean, peaceful and beautiful. We did have an issue with the driveway not being plowed when we arrived but Navid was diligent about getting that done. It was done later that night. We would love to stay again at this beautiful condo!

All I can say is WOW!!!! The property was even more beautiful in person. It was absolutely gorgeous. Katy really has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. It's luxury in a secluded slice of heaven. The property was meticulous. Everything was chosen with care and attention to detail. From the linens, the pillows, the towels...to the supplies in the kitchen. The coffee bar was great. The welcome basket was wonderful with a personalized note. The games, the kayaks and paddle boards and the views!! Just outstanding! All the lighting details..the bonfire pit..the outdoor furniture. Even our dog was thought of providing towels, bowls, poop bags. Katy was wonderful to work with. She was very clear and detailed with instructions and ideas on places to eat, things to do, you name it. She was very responsive and you could tell she really cared about our stay. The hot tub was a bonus!! Even the bathroom was gorgeous!!! We LOVED our stay!!!

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. The house is in a quiet area with easy parking and views and an easy walk to the bay. Check-in was simple, with Kate providing great instructions for the keypad to let ourselves in. The house was cozy with all amenities as described, and we felt right at home. All the Traverse City attractions were easy to get to, and Kate provided great recommendations. We had an awesome time and would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Dorene and John’s was perfect! We traveled the half hour to ski at Nub’s and enjoyed being in the private atmosphere of the cabin. The hot tub topped it all off! We didn’t want to leave!

Was a very beautiful and peaceful place in the woods. The hot tub was super clean, very cozy fireplace area, and the whole set up was just gorgeous. We had a really great experience! We also loved how they are stocked with all the essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips, and everything you would need. The host was very helpful and responded fast.

John & Kelly are not your typical hosts, they go above and beyond! By far the most magnificent hosts in my experience with AirBnB! Their communication is excellent and the home was completely clean and pristine. They also had a very detailed binder with not only everything you need to know about the house, but everything you should know about the location as well! They poured in their time to find great recommendations and ideas so that their guests can have the best possible experience! The quality of everything inside their home is definitely worth the price of the stay. John & Kelly and their home check all the boxes in what one is looking for in a great experience!

Our complements to Matt and Stacy. It’s a lovely little cabin. The location was excellent for the activities we planned. We were able to safely walk the dogs on the adjacent street and at the near by Aspen park where we also did some cross country skiing. Also only 9 minutes away from down hill skiing at Otsego Resort. The kitchen was adequately equipped for meal preparations. The beds and other furniture were very comfortable. In summary, it’s a very cozy, comfortable place to stay.

The cutest airbnb! The location was great, beautiful scenery. The house itself was spotless, we had everything we could need and more. Chelsea was extremely helpful and responsive. I would absolutely love to come back in the summer and enjoy the back patio and lake!

Craig’s place was everything we have been looking for! We have 2 rescue dogs who have a hard time being around other dogs. We really wanted a place where they could be free to be themselves out in nature. Craig’s place was very private, with a big property. We went for some lovely walks on the trail, and also explored some locations nearby with great river walks. I have to say that Craig’s place was so welcoming and comfortable. The old cabin feel, the wood burning fire, the dvd selection. We just loved being a bit cut off from the world (but still had a bit of signal.) Craig is so helpful and accommodating. The cabin has everything you need, extra blankets, a full kitchen, fire wood ready, games. Just show up with your clothes (and food) and you will be set! We were just a couple, but there are lots of beds for more guests to stay. We hope to return with some friends in the future and experience everything the cabin has to offer in different seasons! This is the second time we've stayed here, because we love it here. The whole vibe of this really lovely, 2-bedroom cabin is cozy, friendly, Up-Northy, and comfortable, inside and out. It has an amazing view of Spider Lake and a boat if you want to rent it for extra. Perfect for 2 or 4 people and dog friends if you have any. We definitely would rent again!
