No pet fees in our locally hosted, dog friendly cabin that’s clean and inviting! It’s a five mile ride to Creede via the majestic Bachelor Loop. Our historic mining town boasts the world renown rep theatre plus dining, pubs, and shopping. Explore these pristine mountains staying only minutes from the continental divide where peace is quiet. We offer true fiber internet, private creek fishing, clean accommodations, and a relaxing location with incredible views! Hiking trails leave from here!!

Backcountry Basecamp Lodge

The main lodge is approximately 1900 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths which are private to each room. There is a main kitchen and living area with wood burning fireplace and woodstove. There is also another room with a small full kitchen. The addition on the back of the lodge is a separate Airbnb listing but may also be available. This addition is 420 sq ft. With a kitchen, bath, king and a twin bed. Cabin is across from visitor center and post office at north end of Town.

The Rustic La Garita Cabin

This 1000sq ft cabin in the country with a very rural setting. It is quiet and relaxing, has a wood stove and is close to outdoor activities. Penitent Canyon, La Garita, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, 4wheeling, ATV trails, snowmobiling, skiing (Wolf Creek is 50 min drive). It has a canal running by in the summer. Self-serve breakfast with home-made yogurt, home-made granola, home-made bread for toast, local grown organic eggs, (hot coffee, chocolate, tea) on request.
