Vacation rentals with beach access in County Dublin

Our stay at Denise’s place was delightful. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood, convenient to public transportation, the airport and wonderful walks.

Derina immediately connected with us months before we arrived. It was like having a friend in Ireland! Our goal for this trip was to do excursions around Dublin (we'd already seen Dublin itself on a previous trip). Access to DART made day trips possible (it's 12-15 minutes to-from the station). Dalkey is a wonderful community that made us feel like residents. Great pubs, restaurants, and their own castle. Derina's house is quiet, safe, and is also within walking distance of an upscale grocery/deli (Barnhill Stores). We really loved our stay!

We had an excellent stay at Jamie's place! The flat was clean and as pictured in the photos. Beds and pillows were comfortable. It was quiet, easy to find and walkable to St. Stephen's Green and all of the main attractions. What really stood out was Jamie's responsiveness! As someone traveling from outside of the country, we were a little confused about the heating system. A few messages back and forth with Jamie and everything was quickly figured out. Highly recommend!

This location provides great access to visit Dublin while enjoying down time in a very serene and quiet setting. In less than a ten minute walk you are at the beach or on the train to Dublin. Karen provides friendly and helpful advice on where to go from the perspective of a local. I highly recommend it.

Jenny is a wonderful host, her flat was full of thoughtful details designed to make us feel welcome and at home, from enough food (and even Guinness!) in the fridge on arrival for us to act as our evening meal, to fruit on the table, yoghurts, milk, bread and bagels and even carafes of water and a glass by each bedside. The flat is tastefully furnished, comfortable and just 8 minutes walk from a gorgeous beach - and Jenny even arranged perfect weather. It is in a very quite location - if we had wanted we could probably have walked into Rush but it's quite a busy road and we drove. I think we were a little disappointed in the location when we arrived as it felt very suburban but we rapildy realised it was both convenient and peaceful, a great base for touring th3e local area and beyond. Thoroughly recommend it!

It was a great location for us, walking distance to the shore and the downtown. Parking worked out well also.

My stay in this apartment was exceptional. The accommodation was exactly as described and provided all the amenities promised. The hosts were very responsive and provided clear and helpful information. The apartment is located in a quiet and safe suburb with exceptional sea views. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay.

The house fitted our needs - very clean and comfortable. Only a 10 minute walk to Sutton DART station !

We loved this home. This little seaside village is an adorable part of Dublin! It’s lovely to stroll the walkways and green spaces along the sea and there are bikes available at the rental! We loved all the little shops, pubs and cafes from Blackrock to Dalkey.Our 4 year old was able to burn off some jet lag on the scooter, swing and on the slide. I wish the rain had held off a bit to enjoy it all more but we did appreciate the amenities for children. There were puzzles, books and stools exactly where you want them when you have a small child. The only inconvenience was that 90% of bedroom closet, kitchen/bathroom cabinet space was unusable. They were either locked or filled to the brim with owner’s personal belongings. We were staying for 5days but traveling for 5wks so it didn’t allow us to unpack comfortably. There was nowhere available to put our toiletries in the bathroom so had to live out of the suitcase quite a bit …not the end of the world- otherwise, our stay was wonderful!

We loved the location of this house. It was an easy Uber ride to downtown Dublin, but I loved the fact it was only 10 minutes from the ocean and 15 minutes from the airport. Jenny was responsive and helpful. I would recommend this place.

It was a nice stay in Mary’s house. She had good recommendations for the area and was very attentive.

We were in Skerries for a Family gathering and Richie's place was perfect for our stay. Clean rooms and kitchen lots of space and a small court yard for breakfast. Although we didn't have a car there is a parking space right outside the property which is great as parking in Skerries can be difficult. But the best part of Richie's place is the location right in the centre of the Town I would highly recommend staying there.

Stephane was a wonderful host! Extremely responsive and accommodating. The house was beyond perfect. Just what we needed for our stay and more. Location was very convenient - close to shops & restaurants, public transport, walking distance to other nearby towns, and beautiful walks by the sea! Would highly recommend and would book all of our future stays with Stephane!

We had a fantastic stay at Nuala and Adrien’s place! Their home was welcoming, warm, comfortable, and had everything we needed—including cozy beds for a great night’s sleep. The location was perfect, just a short distance from the city center (10-15 minutes max), with beautiful water views that made it even more special. The walking path along the water is wonderful for an early morning or later evening stroll to see the tide roll in and out. Malahide and Howth are just a short taxi or bus ride away! Again, just an overall great location. Nuala and Adrien were incredibly welcoming hosts, going above and beyond by providing Leap bus passes for our use and leaving snacks along with recommendations for all the best local spots to visit. Their hospitality made our trip even more enjoyable. If you’re visiting the area, this is an absolute must-stay! Highly recommend. Thank you again to our wonderful hosts!

Really enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we could need. It was well thought out, the kitchen was well stocked, desk to work at and comfortable beds. We felt right at home and really enjoyed our stay. We attended a gig in St Anne's and were able to walk home afterwards which was really handy. The area has lot's of great cafes and restaurants all within walking distance and Ronan was an excellent host and had some great suggestions of places to go.

Great communication from Gary. Location was very central, just off the main street but still very quiet. No issues with parking. Apartment was spacious and cozy with interesting decor! Perfect for our short stay visiting family. Would definitely stay again

Location is great! Very short walk to the train station which takes you right into Dublin and a shopping centre with supermarket basically next door. The apartment was comfortable, clean and perfect. Easy to get to and has all the facilities you’d need for your stay.

It felt like being in a movie. It’s a peaceful experience and great way to slow down your vacation to a casual pace. From decor to the surroundings, this place checked every box. Plenty of places to eat, very close to public transit, and the people were welcoming and friendly. Orla is easily the best communicating host I’ve ever had. Howth has plenty to do. It was me, my wife, 4 yo son, and my sister. From the amazing park to keep the little one occupied, to the wide array of food, transport that is only 30 minutes into Dublin, and the amazing sites to see in Howth itself, I can’t wait to go back. We went to London, Liverpool, Howth, and Glasgow on our trip and we unanimously (as people in our 30s) chose Howth as our favorite destination of our visit! Noeleen's Airbnb was our home for about two months and we definitely couldn't choose a better place. She was always helpful, willing to assist us in any matter. The Airbnb was clean, with everything you needed for your stay. The bed was really comfy, the sofas and the living and kitchen area were perfect. We felt really comfortable those two months and we thank Noeleen for having us in her Airbnb, specially with our cat Venom. We struggled a lot trying to find pet friendly accommodation and Noeleen was our life saver. One thing that I would personally comment on is that the bathroom has less ventilation than I would have wanted, and that leads to a moist bathroom. Maybe I would recommend a stronger air extractor and a more frequent sanitation to avoid moist or stains. But it is a personal thing and it did not affect our stay. Thanks a mil Noeleen!

Beautiful home with fantastic views and easy access to walkable spaces. The lively (people and dogs walking and playing along the Strand) yet peaceful area is a welcome respite from the more population dense areas of Dublin. With a little advance planning you can easily walk to the DART, the beautiful restaurants and shops surrounding the green space nearby, or just stroll down the Strand and soak in the vibrant waterfront vibes. The host is friendly and offers so much helpful information prior to your arrival so you really can’t go wrong staying here. Bring earplugs for the road noise at night in the primary bedroom, but don’t let that deter you from this waterfront location.

My second stay here was as good as the first. The apartment has beautiful views, in a great location and close to all the beach activities and restaurants. The apartment was clean, very well organized and had all the amenities you would need.

We picked the perfect place to stay, ideally located to the local transport ( DART & Bus) surrounded by restaurants and pubs with the Starbucks literally 1 minute away for my morning coffee fix. The home itself was quaint and charming while Emma Jane was an EXCEPTIONAL host answering all our questions within a few minutes. We will definitely stay there again, Thank Emma Jane for being awesome!!
