Very comfortable stay with all our family going to a local wedding, felt right at home.

We had the most amazing weekend at Walton barn! It was the perfect location, such a beautiful barn with great outdoor space. Very clean and well equipped. Helen was a great host and gave us tips on the area before we arrived. We would love to come again.

The barn is beautiful and very well fitted out. Fabulous setting, absolutely stunning and super peaceful and quiet. The one bathroom was challenging at times with a party of adults but the rest of the barn is faultless and such a joy to stay in. The tennis court and other amenities were fabulous.

We enjoyed a peaceful two night stay in the barn and loved the space and surroundings. Bridget was very helpful and friendly throughout and we couldn't have asked for anything else to improve the experience.

We had a fantastic time at David's. The location is absolutely beautiful and is a perfect place to stay if you are visiting Bath and have dogs as there are walks straight out of the door. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you David.

This little oasis is as far as it can be from the hustle & bustle of modern life, being at the end a farm track, surrounded by open countryside. It is rare to find somewhere where there is no road noise - just the sound of silence - and the farm animals of course. You are still close to good local facilities & great places to eat. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Beautiful home - as per the photos and listing. It was obvious that a lot of thought and care had gone into the set-up. Everything in the home is high-end with gorgeous beds bedding. Lots of local info provided which makes us want to return to explore more! Dog-friendly and well set-up. A great base for a few days of local commitments. Would highly recommend.

I cannot thank Louise enough for being such a kind, responsive host. I stayed at her beautiful property the night before my wedding and as she knew I would be busy, she request my maid of honours contact details, so she could make arrangements. Louise kindly let us check-in early and answered all of our queries on the run up and during our stay within minutes. I honestly cannot recommend this venue enough and will definitely be booking again - thank you Louise!

I stayed here with my mum and my sister the night before my wedding. In the morning my other bridesmaids came over and we had our hair and make up done here and Janice couldn’t have been more accommodating with them turning up with plenty of car parking spaces. This place is even better than the photos, if that’s even possible! A truly beautiful space, spotlessly clean, lovely little touches left in bathrooms and kitchen, everything had been thought of. Honestly I can’t fault our stay and want to thank Janice for making my wedding morning special but letting us stay at her wonderful place!

We loved our stay at the barn.The place was immaculate and very welcoming. The place itself had everything you need, it is very well though trough.Very nicely done up, there’s definitely an eye for the attention to details.We are a family of 4, 2 little ones under 8, we has some lovely bike rides and lovely teas at the Amberley inn and the Black Horse.We did the Stroud rail trail by bike, going towards Stonehouse,it wasn’t that great we ended up cycling along a dual carriageway, not great with little ones.But toward Nailsworth there’s a little cycling trail,which was really good fun, it’s not big but enough for a couple of jumps, and a few bumps.The property is facing a lovely field with Jasper and Petal the 2 local horses,and they’ll be happy to welcome you in the neighbourhood. The kids were very cosy upstairs and downstairs was great with a toasty fireplace. My hubby is quite tall so the bed unfortunate l’y was on the small side for us, nevertheless the mattress is very comfy

Carthorse Barn is just simply stunning ! So spacious and beautifully decorated, we felt right at home . The day we arrived weather was not the greatest so having a wood stove was blissful. The cottage is very spacious and has everything needed for a comfortable stay , kitchen is fully equipped, downstairs toilet a welcomed bonus. Upstairs both bedrooms are immaculate, spacious and have very comfy beds . I loved the window bench in the kids bedroom, such a wonderful nook to relax. The main bedroom has the biggest and comfiest bed I have ever seen , such a beautiful wooden headboard too. I loved the free standing bath. The farm is also lovely and we enjoyed going to see the pigs and walking round the lakes.

We had a lovely 2 night stay here. The studio is perfectly clean and comfortable and in such beautiful surroundings. There’s so much to see and do in the nearby areas and we appreciated all of the recommendations! We’ll definitely stay again.

The barn was perfect for a weekend in Cheddar. It was so cosy and had everything you would need. The space was clean and in walking distance to all the main spots. Catherine was a great host, and communication was really good. Would definitely recommend ⭐️

We had a wonderful stay at Emmas property, as it was our wedding night Emma had added some extra touches to the airbnb which was really appreciated. The whole place was lovely and would reccomend to anyone who wants to stay in the area.

Just got back from our weekend away at Donna’s beautiful Barn and I must say I didn’t want to leave! The Barn was spotless and had all the homely necessities and more! It’s in such a scenic and quiet location, with a hot tub that looks out onto beautiful fields full of flowers and you might even get to see cows if you’re lucky!Definitely perfect for a relaxing get away. To add to this Donna is an amazing host who will go above and beyond for you. It was my partners 30th birthday and she put up “happy 30th birthday” balloons, bunting and banners, left us a chocolate cake and a bottle of Proceco too. To also add to the birthday treats Donna arranged an earlier check in and later check out time for us. She was always quick at responding to my messages and was always so friendly and helpful with my needs. Donna also took the time to send us useful information of things to do it the area which we found most helpful. This lovely get away is 10/10 and I would highly recommend!

We had a lovely week away with your 3 year old who absolutely loved the "holiday house". Everything was spotlessly clean, lots of essentials were provided and we felt very welcome as Pam & Geoff were friendly and helpful. Nearby to plenty of attractions and so made a good base for our trip. We would certainly visit again.
