Multiple Boat Launches less than 15 minutes away. Located in a area with all types of wildlife, we have alligators, deer, bobcats, hogs and owls. Its is quit & peaceful back here. So if you want to get away from city life for a while, this is the place. We have everything you need, just bring some clothes and food.

This is a guest suite attached to our home. It is located in a peaceful neighborhood. It’s only a 10 min walk to Baton Rouge Main Public Library and Botanical Gardens. This space is perfect for a maximum of 4 people as it is furnished with a queen size bed and a sofa bed. This Airbnb has a full size refrigerator, a kitchenette that has a microwave, an air fryer, crockpot, coffee maker (NOT keurig), toaster and waffle maker, blender and rice cooker. Parking is available on driveway.

Tammy was nothing short of a phenomenal host! As a bonus, the house is in a very nice location up against the lake, which was very peaceful at night. If you want a serene getaway, whether you are in town or from out of town, this is the place to go! You will not be disappointed. Also great WiFi connection for those who work remotely.

Wife and I recently stayed here for 3 nights. This place was just what we were looking for after staying 5 nights in New Orleans. It’s a very peaceful location. You get the feel of how the rest of Louisiana is outside of New Orleans. It’s a rustic fishing cabin just like the pics show but the place is clean and had whatever we needed to cook our breakfast(we ate out for dinners). One day we did plantation tours from here and the next day we did the swamp tour(highly recommended). The swamp tour is hosted by Allen(owner) and well worth it. He had us catching catfish out of the lake and later fried it up for us and made us a complete dinner! The owners live across the road and are very accessible and are such nice people! My one complaint is that the decking around the cabin is in pretty rough shape but the pictures do show this. From the decking we saw bald eagles, gators in the water, a snake, and lots of fish jumping out of the water!

I had a wonderful stay at Daniel’s place in Gonzales, Louisiana. The home was spotless and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable visit. Located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, it provided the perfect relaxing atmosphere after a busy day. We were in town for a sporting event and stayed for two nights—everything about the experience was seamless. Friends who stopped by were equally impressed by the space and how well-maintained it was. Daniel was a thoughtful and responsive host, making the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone visiting the Gonzales area. I would definitely book again!
