A beautiful, well equipped little gîte, with everything you could possibly need. The garden is so peaceful, and within a few minutes drive of les lacs de Haute Charente, which are ideal for dog walking. We loved meeting Harry the resident dog. Thank you to Anneguus and Dirk, for being so welcoming. I hope to return some day.

We spent 2 perfect days in this beautiful house (and garden) tastefully decorated and very clean. Thank you to Yveline for sharing the story of this house with us. We will be back without hesitation.

We had a lovely stay in this authentic French house in the countryside! In peace, middle of nature. Almost no human sounds to be heard, so wonderful. A nice swimming pool at our disposal to cool off. Garden is completely fenced, so our dog could safely run loose. Extra (folding) beds are not suitable for adults ;-) The town of Civray has several large supermarkets, of which we liked the Super- U the best. We liked the town of Condac (canoeing/sup/swimming area), Nateuile-en-Vallée (nice park Jardin de I'Argentor and cozy coffee shop Lolly's), Ruffec (idyllic village); all nearby! O and the restored brook Fontaine et Lavoir de Cornac is also nice to visit (Saint-Gaudent). They have brought back the current there to ensure that biodiversity (insects, aquatic plants and fish) is promoted again. Don't forget to look on the other side of the road as well! :-)

Anne is fantastic, such a lovely person and so kind and accommodating. The house is great, the location great and the gardens were lovely. We really enjoyed our week, even with the rain, plenty to do in the area. Many thanks to Anne for being a great host, would highly recommend.

The accommodation was as described, very clean, well-equipped and above all… the jacuzzi was a real plus, perfect for relaxing. A real little piece of heaven! We had a great stay in this lovely apartment which was very centrally placed in Ruelle sur touvre. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and was beautifully furnished with much attention paid to detail. we loved all the old pots, antique weighing scales and arty pieces all around. Well-equipped and quiet accommodation in a green setting, close to the center of the village (bakery, supermarket, etc.). Recommended.

We had a very pleasant week of vacation in the green Périgord. Marc is a warm and attentive host, he wants everyone to feel good, all in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The accommodation is clean, we enjoyed the terrace overlooking the greenery of the park and the pool. A week during which we also enjoyed the baguette and small morning croissants, as well as the restaurant tastings on the site! An invitation to relax with the possibility of walking and/or cycling on many arrow trails. An address to remember.
