Monthly Rentals in Compton Chamberlayne

A lovely barn that is beautifully decorated and has all the appliances you would need. Karen was a great host and provided lots of recommendations in a binder in the barn. A great location with lots of things to do in the surrounding areas such as the cathedral in Salisbury and lots of walking routes right outside the door.

A very lovely stay in all respects. Because Wilton House, the Italianate church (across the road), the gorgeous rivers, streams and water meadows, the excellent restaurant and coffee shop, that we visited were all just a few metres away, it couldn't have been more relaxing and enjoyable. There was even a lovely little community market next door. Accommodation was perfect and very comfortable (excellent artwork on the walls too); thank you to Jemma and the nice lady who came to clean (as we were leaving).

Wow, what a beautiful, peaceful place. Chris did recommend pubs & restaurants to visit, but we just wanted a nice peaceful rest away from home. The kitchen was fully equipped with what we needed. We were welcomed with some eggs, milk & bottled water which was a nice touch. The eggs were fresh & delicious. The weather wasn’t great so couldn’t take advantage of the beautiful natural courtyard to the front of the house. I can’t fault this little cottage. It’s perfect & stocked with everything you need.
