Wren's on Glenelg is the place to stay, so beautiful and peaceful it was very hard to leave ... Perfectly romantic, with lots of hidden gems in Nelson and surrounds to explore... perfect place to stay if you have a boat and want to cruise the tranquility of the Glenelg River, most enjoyable and relaxing time spent.... so worth the money!... waking up and having a coffee outside with the bird life and fresh air was the perfect way to start the day. Didnt want to leave. From the moment we arrived it felt like home. While the place wasnt perfect, the things that generally matter were. Every creature comfort of home was there. The beach is a short stroll or even shorter drive. The neighbours and general community are friendly. The area is quiet and the stars are very bright. Rooms are all bigger than expected. Biggest negative was the pump which was very loud in the bedroom with the triple bunk bed, but we all slept through it running no problems.

Great location for a relaxing escape. Beautiful, uninterrupted ocean view from front windows exactly as described. No window covering on carport glass sliding door, so if you’re after complete privacy this may be worth knowing. Also the kids room doesn’t have blockout blinds, so early wake ups are likely. Comfy beds. We didn’t use the car at all during our stay as everything was an easy walk or cycle. Great cafes and restaurants an easy walk along the coastal path. We will be back. Thanks Katelyn for offering an affordable coastal getaway.
