Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Colonial Beach

Our stay was perfect. Communication prior to arrival and check in instructions were clear. The house is the perfect location for visiting the Blackwater Refuge. The house was clean with nice linens and extra bath amenities. The outside area was amazing! We saw 2 bald eagles daily along with other wildlife. We enjoyed the canoe and kayaking. We would refer this house or stay in the future.

My partner and I stayed for a short overnight visit. We wish we could have stayed longer! The house is so charming and cozy. Very clean and well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. Rebecca included a book with helpful local recommendations as well as informational pamphlets about local attractions.

We secured Anthony's Airbnb for our daughter's bridal party and other family throughout this memorial Day weekend! Everything was wonderful - location, decor, and responsiviness 100% amazing! The house is unique and has so many charming elements that made it the perfect place for this occasion! And how fortunate it was so close to Calvert Marine museum for the Jordan Davis concert so some of the 'kids' could safely enjoy that event this weekend as well! Highly recommend!!

We had a very pleasant stay. It is a beautiful setting on a quiet road. The water view is wonderful. Gorgeous sunrise over the water!

What an amazing place! The photos did not do it justice. We had beautiful weather and the back patio/deck was the perfect hangout. We went kayaking, caught a lot of crabs, and enjoyed being by the water. We had the firepit going while one of us was grilling food and the vibes were perfect. The detached game room saw plenty of heated pool games with a great selection of music and sound system. Bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was a joy to cook in. Dawn provided very detailed instructions so that you know all that you need to do. All-in-all, great spot that is a perfect group getaway!

Melinda’s place was the perfect jumping off point for our family while we spent a week visiting relatives in Fredericksburg. It was a great size and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I’d highly recommend and we look forward to visiting again soon!

This house is perfect for large groups. It is very spacious, with plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the dock taking in the serene natural beauty of the Creek and observing the local birdlife, including Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, and Bald Eagles. The house is situated very near to the entrance of Lookout Point State Park which we greatly enjoyed exploring on bicycles. Seeing a large wedge of Tundra Swans fly overhead was a special moment. If you want to spend some time relaxing in a beautiful setting in a beautiful and very interesting area with a large group, this house will serve you well.

TODD’S is KING! We have been searching for our new home & have stayed in 2 of their buildings. TODDs’ customer service has been fast, reliable & friendly! TODD’s has made us feel relaxed & welcomed during our visits. Our cat feels at home here, too! He has been anxious in other Abnbs, so it’s a great benefit. Their units are clean & stocked with essentials — like bathroom, laundry & kitchen supplies. The bed is super comfy as is the living room couch. The TV is large & U can stream your favorite channels. They even supply a safe — for your valuables — and an ironing board & iron for that quick press! A big closet, too! We have very much appreciated TODD’S staff for many reasons. They WANT to help & they WANT their guests happy. They went out of their way to help us elongate our stay, when we realized we needed more time! They kindly juggled other reservations to ensure we could stay longer. Such a pleasant surprise & experience! We recommend TODD’s highly!

It was absolutely wonderful staying at Joanne's home. It was very comfortable and loved the outdoor firepit. Very peaceful and lovely home. We would love to come back again for another visit.

Andrea was extremely proactive and responsive to our questions, even reaching out ahead of time to make sure we were aware of work being done and arranged for late check-out, a huge help for our group. The local recommendations were really appreciated, and it's such a beautiful location along the water.

Brandons place was amazing! A 5 story palace that gave everyone staying here a lot of space. Walkable to the local spots for drinks and food. Please stay at this place if you have high standards and love a home-like spot. Thank you brandon

Stayed during Memorial day weekend. We wanted to getaway from normal busyness and this house was perfect. The house is clean, large, and easily accommodated our large group of 13. Three bedrooms have their own bathrooms, which was perfect for 3 families, and the third floor is essentially a kids hangout with two bedrooms with multiple beds and another bathroom. There are plenty of activities, crabbing, fishing, kayaks, pool, fire to keep everyone including ours kids (ranging from 7 to 14 years old) entertained throughout the weekend and kept them off their devices. There is enough space, front and back lawn, for additional outdoor play. Besides the shouts of ours kids having fun, it is very peaceful! The area is quiet and felt quite private. Clare communicated well with all the instructions. We are planning to return next year.

Great place to stay. Hyrum was quick to respond when I messaged him. Neighborhood is quiet but conveniently located to the highway. Would stay here again.

The house is beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet. The neighbors are very friendly. Cupboards were stocked. The view of the river is gorgeous. Brian responded quickly to any questions we had. Check in and out was very easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again.

This was a great vacation. This place has it all from the pool to the kayaking, fishing, crabbing and the late night fires were we all just sat around the fire and enjoyed the time together. The house was awesome, plenty of room for all. The family had a great time. Definitely would rent this place again.

Really enjoyed holiday get away . Place was located near water with great views. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood was quaint. The town was was pretty with water on each side with the Christmas lights at night . We truly enjoyed our relaxing stay . Would definitely book again

This is a great place to stay. We found this AirBnB to be stress free. It was in a nice community and managed by quality owners who were helpful in recommending places to eat, etc. It is quiet and relaxing atmosphere with a back porch facing a wooded area.

We had a great time staying at Tristan’s place! The area was clean and thoughtfully decorated. The large windows and balcony made for a great spot to sit and watch some amazing bald eagles that are nesting nearby. The hosts supplied us with nespresso coffee pods and an even left some chocolates to enjoy. I felt like I was being taken care of by family. Thank you for letting us stay with you!

My family and I had an incredible experience here. Our son was thrilled with the place, and its beachside location was perfect. We'll definitely be booking again. Only problem was the thermostat not working but overall it was an amazing stay!!!

We loved the house; cozy, nicely decorated, with many pieces of original art that really added character. The kitchen is well stocked for those who like to cook. The location right on the water was wonderful, and Nancy provided kayaks, which we took advantage of. Our dog was beside himself with so much room to run. Nancy’s daughter and family live next door, and we spent quite a few hours enjoying conversation and local knowledge with them. We would go back again.

Our stay in Tall Timbers was fabulous, much of it thanks to the care, detailed information, and lovely accommodations provided by our host, Robert. He communicated extremely well through the whole process from booking to check out. Nothing was a mystery and everything was as described or better. The house is charming and in a lovely wooded location. it's isolated but close to many amenities and short drive to historical attractions, local businesses, and the beautiful Maryland coast. We had a particularly wonderful visit to the Tall Timbers Oyster Ranch which is walking distance from the house. We highly recommend this location and send our thanks once again to Robert for his outstanding hospitality!

Cozy house with functional appliances, new furniture, decorated with good taste. Spacious rooms and bathroom that are super clean. If you want to cook, bring your own knives and favorite pots though.
