Monthly Rentals in Coldbackie

This is one of those Airbnb that deserve six stars. The pictures in the listing don’t do it justice. It sits on a hill above the sea such that all you see out the windows is water and mountains. They converted what had been a garage into a cozy, living, eating, and sleeping space. Everything is so well built and there is so much attention to detail that you feel like you are in a much larger space. There’s nothing that hasn’t been well thought out and designed. And Andy and Jenny are such warm and friendly people you immediately feel like you’re part of the family. I could go on and on, but I will leave it there and simply say I highly recommend it.

Everything was just so lovely! The place was clean, tidy and just so welcoming with a lot of lights. There was even a fire place in the living room. Some small wellcoming gifts like easter chocolate (because it was easter sunday). The place was very cozy I can only recommend it. Would stop by any time again as we felt at home. Sadly we only stayed for the night. Also great host, great communication, great instructions. Just perfect :)

At first we hesitated over the price of this cottage, but left knowing it was worth every penny. Inside it is so comfy with amazing beds, cosy woodburner in the living room, and large really well stocked kitchen with incredible views from every window. But it’s the garden that made this one of our favourite stays on the Nc500. The pictures can’t do justice to how amazing the views are over the Kyle of tongue and up the tiny track to Talmine. We walked down to skinnet beach in front of the house (there’s a marked footpath about 150m down the road if you turn left from the house) and it was our favourite beach for paddling with the kids !

We had a fantastic 3 days here. Check in literally couldnt have been easier. We were given very clear instructions (with photos) of how to get to the accommodation as well. There was lots of space both inside and outside of the accommodation with the most amazing views. The seating outside (2 different choices) were fantastic. The egg chairs specifically! And the coloured lights at night in the outside area were a very nice touch. We were stumped a little with trying to find the cutlery but Graeme responded to our message within a matter of...I'm going to say seconds instead of minutes. It turns out there is a large cutlerly drawer above where the pans were kept. Graeme even messaged us one evening to go outside to see the Northern Lights!! We would highly recommend.
