Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Colchester

We had a great weekend here with a group of friends. It was very clean and spacious for a group of 10. The kitchen and living/dining space were perfect for making dinners together and hanging out. Communication with Katy was also great, Katy was very responsive and helpful when we had a few questions. Thank you!

Carol was a most welcoming host at her beautifully appointed and decorated house. Plenty of space, extremely comfortable and everything we needed. Carol was responsive with messages and provided some ideas of places to visit. All in all we had a great time and would recommend.

We stayed at this lovely property for a family get away to celebrate our birthdays. The house and amenities were perfect for a large family group with everything you could possibly need on hand. The rooms were all very spacious, comfortable and clean, we all enjoyed the hot tub and the outside space was just right and has lovely views. Kate and Sam were very responsive and Tina the housekeeper was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

A great well equipped and spacious house. All bedrooms had private bathrooms. Beautiful kitchen dining family room. Comfortable for a large group. Town centre approx 15-20 min walk or a few minute drive. Bury St. E has lots to do, places to eat and lovely shops. Cathedral is a highlight. Would highly recommend for family groups

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jo’s place. The annex was so clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed, plus more! The croissants, bread, chocolates, wine, juice and yoghurts Jo left us were a lovely touch, as were the treats for our dog! We also enjoyed the use of the exercise equipment. The area is absolutely stunning. Thank you Jo - we had a lovely weekend!

We had a great stay at this property. We were attending a wedding nearby and needed somewhere to stay over the weekend and this place ticked all of our boxes. It was spotlessly clean and just as described. Would highly recommend a stay.

What can I say , a brilliant experience from start to finish! Lyndsay was a great host , super responsive and helpful throughout , with lots of helpful information regarding the property and surrounding area. The place itself was fantastically decorated and lovely and light , and there was more than enough room for us all (6 Adults and 4 Children). The Kitchen Dining area is a brilliant space to spend time together. The Garden is huge and an ideal outdoor space for games , a bbq or drinks in the Sun , and the garage having a Pingpong table and additional games too was a nice touch. Heating controls were very easy to use and once set , the place soon warms up quickly. It was very easy to find and there is plenty of parking space and the local pub is just a short walk through the churchyard. We chose to have lunch there and it was dead nice and reasonably priced. Overall , Lyndsay was fantastic and so was the Accommodation, the only negative was having to leave! 😁

We had a wonderful stay. The flat is really close to the beach and looks even better in reality than the pictures. And Barbara is a fabulous host- very responsive, and she was really helpful about a couple of matters.

We had a lovely weekend at Walton on the Naze. The apartment is extremely clean, cosy and homely. The location is excellent, close to the beach and High Street.

Lovely, peaceful and spacious flat with vintage touches, in a very central location close to restaurants, shops, the seafront and the many walks and places to visit around Aldeburgh. Great for couples or families. Managing Agents very responsive to any requests. Would highly recommend!

Lovely cosy flat with everything you needed with lovely surroundings. Julia was a great very friendly host very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay would recommend her flat as a great place to stay.

Cannot fault these lodges or michelle as a host. Everything was perfect, clean, comfortable and the lodges definitely have that added feel of luxury. Will 100% be returning. Thank you apple tree lodges for a perfect break. Beautiful lodges in a beautiful location.

It was the perfect home away from home! Everything was super straightforward and accessible including shops, parks/open spaces, check in, parking etc. The home was beautifully decorated, clean and tidy. Not a bad word to say about my visit and if I’m ever in the area again I would definitely stay again :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Robert and Lorraine's house. The flat is right opposite the beach which is amazing. The flat was very clean. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels which was very handy. overall a very positive experience.

The “Cowshed “was perfect for our stay. Situated in the grounds of a beautiful old farmhouse with a majestic in and out drive. The pub across the road does amazing food with excellent sevice.(try the pie for 2 😋) Jacky was a friendly and attentive host. Would definitely stay there again next time I’m in the area. Had an absolutely gorgeous stay for my friends hen do celebrations. Being greeted on arrival with a stunning view of the chapel-esque part of the building with the flowers all in bloom. Then you walk down the side path that makes you feel like you're walking into the secret garden or the herbology classes at Hogwarts, simply unbelievable. Sophie was a great host, very friendly, understanding and helpful. Check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Towels and extremely comfortable beds/bedding provided. Lots of essentials in the pantry. It was absolutely perfect, everyone was in awe and it made for a very memorable weekend. The weather wasn't on our side so we didn't get to use the outside space, but with such a gorgeous interior it didn't matter at all. The cleaner Heidi was also wonderful on check out. It's not cheap (May half term weekend didn't help) but it's not a cheap environment and we'd pay it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend! Thank you Sophie and Heidi!

We had a lovely stay in West Mersea this weekend. The airbnb is in a perfect location, with a short walk down to the beach. The property is beautiful and spacious and the projector is incredible! Tony and Mas were wonderful hosts and were easily contactable throughout our stay. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were in Suffolk for a 3 day wedding as an extended family group and the house was the perfect base. The house is very comfortable- especially the beds - and everything has been thought of. It is also very very clean. The courtyard is beautiful. We would thoroughly recommend!

A stunning cottage set in beautiful surroundings! It was a lovely stay for my partners birthday- very relaxing. We loved the scenery when sitting in the hot tub. Thank you so much Fiona. We will be back!

Julia’s place is spacious, beautiful, clean and an easy commute for us due to the Elizabeth line train station less than 5 mins walk from the house. Julia was responsive for any questions and we will definitely book again when visiting London.

Fabulous house in a beautiful area. House was incredibly well equipped and everything was a really high quality. Loads of essentials in the fridges and high end toiletries in all bathrooms. Cant recommend Jacqui enough as a wonderful host. And really dog friendly.
