Such an amazing spot. The pool was fantastic and the location was so accessible as many of the reviews have stated. We could walk right into town, to the beach and still get back to a quiet location after a full day. The kids had a blast and we would definitely come back.

The house is beautiful, as seen in the photos, it is a quiet area, the attention from the hosts was excellent, we always got a quick response to our questions, everything very clean, the instructions for access very clear, everything worked perfectly, I recommend it 100%, we had a great time!

What a peaceful and relaxing few days away from the city. I had my mum and aunt visiting me in Costa Rica so we rented this beautiful house for 5 nights. It's always such a nice surprise to rent a home that is so well maintained and equipped. We had everything we needed to make meals, to lounge around the pool and to have restful nights sleep. The beds were extremely comfortable, the pool was amazing and the location can't be beat. The best part for me was that this beautiful home was pet-friendly. The neighbourhood was perfect and safe for walking my god boy Gordie. Another perk is that Gracia Mar Vista, an excellent restaurant with an amazing view, is just a short distance away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and wouldn't change a thing. I highly recommend Alejandro's place.

We were 3 couples, 2 rooms had their own bathroom which was wonderful. It is a condominium of separate houses (it is not a tower building), the pool and BBQ area is shared, very quiet. The property is gated, so entry and exit is very safe. It's a perfect location to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city centers, and even the route to get there is quite quiet.

Julie was an excellent host. Her place was beautiful. we really enjoyed our stay there.

The common areas are quite large, and the rooms are also super spacious. Overall everything was good, the recommendations of local restaurants with delivery helped us a lot.

5 Stars – Best Airbnb I’ve Stayed In! This place was absolutely perfect! The location is excellent—just 50 yards from the beach, which made it incredibly convenient to enjoy the ocean every day. The home itself was spotless, with a beautiful pool and a well-equipped, modern kitchen. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Vidal was amazing—super helpful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Hands down, this is the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

The absolute perfect stay for Costa Rica. It’s about a 7-10 minute walk to all the restaurants and shops you could want, there’s a gym right around the corner for a week or day pass, and a super market and multiple coffee shops within 5 minutes. The pool and house were phenomenal!

We loved our stay so much at Casa Bianca that we extended. Marie was so helpful. Beautifully furnished, comfortable beds and linens, super clean! The pool area was beautiful with lovely loungers. The outdoor kitchen was a great spot to hang out and prepare meals. Having a washer and dryer was so nice after traveling for a while. The location is perfect, short walk to beach, restaurants and shops. We loved that they provided beach chairs too. WiFi was strong to catch up on emails or research things to do. I would highly recommend staying and we are already looking at return dates. Playa Grande is a perfect location to do day trips from, we explored Tamarindo, Playa Flamingo and Brasilito. Marie provided great directions and a nice welcome package for nearby things to do. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Our group loved the place! All the bedrooms being en-suites was a BIG plus for us. Loved the view & the pool! Gated community was peaceful and very centric.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Redonda! This place is truly a gem, its located right in town but behind the entry gates you have your own private oasis separated from all the craziness. It really made our experience in Tamarindo unforgettable. Everything looks recently renovated, the AC keeps the place super cool, and we had more than enough space for our group of 8 guys. The manager Ale was wonderful and helped us out with anything we needed. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for premium accommodations for a large group.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Xanadu! The views were unbelievable and the amenities were exactly as described. The photos were very accurate and the A/C was amazing. If you’re going, I would definitely recommend bringing gallons of water and renting 4x4s as the hill is quite steep. With the 4x4 golf carts, the location was incredibly manageable with great access to town and the beach. Adrianna was incredibly helpful leading up to our stay and during the stay organizing last minute transportation for our group to golf and get to the airport very quickly. She was incredibly organized and knowledgeable. I cannot stress enough how AMAZING the views were. We were in HEAVEN.

We really enjoyed our stay @ Arlene & Ken's! Santa Cruz is a cute town, kind of away from the hustle & bustle, but close enough to drive to a closeby town. Christian was helpful in getting a pool cleaner over & making the pool pristine! We appreciated the beach chairs, beach towels and boogie boards. We'll be back, Santa Cruz, Pura Vida!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was very comfortable and spacious for our group of 11. The pool and outdoor lounge area were perfect for relaxing, and the location was great—close to restaurants, with one beach within walking distance and others just a short drive away. The gated property and alarm system made us feel very safe. Highly recommend for a fun and stress-free getaway!

We loved our time at Casa Lonestar! The management team was very responsive. We had some issues with water, both pressure and availability, but when we reached out to management, they sent someone quickly who offered support. The location is incredible, and there are excellent restaurants and beaches in easy walking distance. It also offers privacy and seclusion. The pool was incredible and it’s shaded in the afternoon which is really nice when it’s super hot on the beach! We highly recommend breakfast at Pots and Bowls and dinner at both Rip Jack Inn and Surf Dog. Make sure to pack your own shampoo and conditioner, and do some research on grocery stores if you plan on cooking in the house. Finding groceries was really challenging. Also, if you work with the fish guy, Frank, do it ahead of time not for the day you need the fish! Overall, we loved the place! Cheers and Pura Vida!

This place was truly amazing. The house has a beautiful ocean view and was very comfortable. All the AC units worked well, which was welcomed on the hot nights. We also enjoyed the pool to cool off on hot days and the hammocks to relax after a long day! The house was very clean and secure, and the WiFi was very fast which was welcomed for movie nights. I appreciated the extra neighborhood security, they were very nice and we felt safe. Crystal was very responsive and detailed in instructions for arrival and departure. The one thing I might recommend, is adding a few beach chairs to take down to playa Negra! Thanks again Crystal, we will certainly be back!

We had an amazing stay at this AirBnB in Playa Hermosa! The location was absolutely perfect—both stunning and conveniently close to all the adventures we had planned. The hosts (Christian and Nadia) were awesome, attentive and responsive making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Aside from a minor scorpion sting (a bit of Costa Rican wildlife excitement) and some unexpected construction on the driveway, everything was perfect. We would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore the beauty and excitement of Playa Hermosa and experience the beauty of Costa Rica!! Pura Vida!!!

The perfect spot in Tamarindo. We absolutely loved the space! We cooked breakfast each morning and had fantastic sleeps with the quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds and AC. The pool is fantastic and we really appreciated the short walk to the beach and town area. Having a quiet oasis to escape to was perfect and we cannot recommend this place enough. We’d would absolutely stay here again!

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Arbel’s house in Tamarindo! The property was stunning—clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with all the amenities we needed for a perfect vacation. The pool was a highlight, and the location was ideal, just a quick drive to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Arbel was an exceptional host, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We stayed at Johan's place from Feb 1st-8th. Their place is exactly like the pictures. They have it fully equipped which is great when you're "away from home but it feels like home!" It's in a gated community so you feel safe and close to everything. We really enjoyed the terrace and the pool! Thanks so much for having us!!

The first thing I thought when walking in was that everything looks exactly like the pictures. The place was spotless and the neighborhood is perfectly private and quiet. Security was attentive and friendly. You will definitely need a car to get around because the property is about 5-10 minutes from Tamarindo beach. It's a great location for a quiet relaxing getaway with a short drive to shopping, dining, and night life. We stayed for a week and would definitely come back next time we visit Costa Rica. We even saw a few howler monkeys in the nearby trees! Also, the water pressure and temperature were fantastic. No complaints at all.

We recently stayed at this amazing and had a truly wonderful experience. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed. One of the standout parts of our stay was how responsive and helpful our host, Evelyn, was. She made everything easy and stress-free, from check-in to answering questions during our stay. Her attentiveness added a special touch. The location was ideal—peaceful and quiet, yet everything was within walking distance, including shops, restaurants, and the beach. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway where you can truly unplug and unwind. Each morning, we woke up to the unique sound of howler monkeys in the distance. While we didn’t see them on the property, hearing them added a special, natural vibe to the trip. If you’re planning a visit, we recommend bringing bug spray, get used to seeing bugs and lizards.

We looked for a nice place away from the city and we found this nice villa like inside the jungle quite and pastoral , my partner loved it so much we will visit there for sure at the near future,

Our crew had a great 5 days at this property. The salt water pool was lovely and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. It’s easy to find, and since we cooked most meals at home, the grocery store at the end of the street was helpful. Remember, beach parking is free in Costa Rica.
