Great views of the lake from the upper open deck, swinging benches on the screened in porch on the second floor and an easy walk to the lake from the bottom floor. Down by the lake you'll find a great spot for kids to play in the shallow water and on the sandy beach along with a floating dock for jumping and swimming. This spacious home is the perfect place to base your vacation on the New River Trail! We are located on the trail at mile marker 12.5 on one of the prettiest parts of the New River Trail. From the veranda you can listen to the rapids of the New River spilling into Claytor lake. There is a boat launch less than a half mile away. Little travelers have their own space with a play room upstairs and plenty of room to play outside.
