We were a total of 8 guests; 2 children, 2 middle-aged, and 4 senior citizens, and we all had a fabulous time. Jayne is an excellent host; her staff, Joy, and Michael, are incredible! The reception upon arrival was very refreshing after the drive from Nairobi. We were given a tour of the beautiful house, exquisite gardens, and farm. We got complimentary fruits and boiled corn to snack on as we settled in. We also received 1L of fresh milk every morning!! This is the first Airbnb ever to receive free food in Kenya and abroad. The staff was always present and helpful, from preparing meals to lighting up the fireplace to lighting up the grill for nyama choma, cleaning up and washing dishes......the list goes on and on. Jayne constantly communicated with her staff and us and ensured we arrived safely and that we were comfortable. There are a lot more good things to report but since space wouldn't allow it, I 110% recommend Koogi Gardens without a doubt!

We travelled as an extended family of 8 and loved the stay! James is a great host and responsive. The caretaker was very prompt and proactive. We especially appreciated that meals were on time, including breakfast at 6am! She helped get shoes for one of us from a local vendor at really short notice and saved the day. The house has a big beautiful compound and looks just as advertised. We hope to go back for another stay.

Monica’s place is in own compound,and the caretaker was very friendly. I got to taste the juicy passion fruit growing next to the house! Will definitely go back when in Meru.

The Doc and his wife Faith are incredible hosts, always super responsive and so kind. The house is super comfy, everything we needed and more. We highly suggest this Gem of a place and its kind, knowledgeable hosts! 5 min walk to town and just a 5 min drive to bus station or stage. We cant wait to stay again.
