Monthly Rentals in Chipman Lake

The place was perfect for our winter family vacation. The home was as described in a beautiful setting with a great view. If staying in the winter months having a vehicle with at least all wheel drive is helpful, as this is Vermont. The home is out of the way, but easy driving distance to ski and explore the nearby towns.

It was the perfect place to crash and enjoy a 2 night stay for our Ski trip to Killington! Loved the Mountain View’s surrounding, just wish it was kayaking season cause the offer to use the kayaks was cool haha! The design of the bathroom in the bedroom was unique but worked fairly well. Overall enjoyed and felt comfortable during our stay. Keep the heater on high since there’s no doors the air flow is pretty big during the cold nights!

Liz was a fabulous host. Very friendly and helpful. She has thought of everything you could need for a fantastic stay, whether you are staying to sleep and go on outings or just lounge around the property. It is a beautiful property. We enjoyed a fire, roasting smores in the fire pit, and got to hear the wonderful sound of the river, that was a stone throw away. Being able to bring our dog, who is a Montain dog, so not little, was a bonus. He was in heaven and We felt safe letting him play in the yard. She has 3 ABB on this property and we stayed in the tiny house. It was our first experience with a tiny house. It was cute and very well kept. It had what we needed. I will say, that I was grateful for a regular bathroom and it's use, in the garage and as a bit of a larger woman with back issues, the bed was a bit on the hard side for me. It wouldn't stop me from coming again, nor take away from my 5 start review though. It was a wonderful weekend.

It was truly a pleasure staying at Jane and Fred’s. Everything is exactly as pictured. The bed is VERY cozy I had the best night sleep. Very tranquil and loved watching the horses graze in the AM. Thoughtful touches like what light switches do, chargers, and nice appliances. Instructions and communication made everything easy
